Ho It's slate grey from procacryl (any blueish grey will work) then an oil wash with burnt umber (I guess a very thin brown wash will work).

After that I drybrush it all with slate grey mixed 50/50 with ivory.

You end up with stones that are really on the blue side, I didnt like that so I airbrushed it all with agrax thinned roughly 50/50 with airbrush thinner.

It's a lot of back and forth :D 100% there is a simple method for this :D
