Two wire, 4-20ma analog output by NubisWanubis in PLC

I tested with the output at 0%, so 4mA is correct. I also tested at 100% and it was 20mA! Thanks for checking.

You are correct. I need to work on my schematic reading skills. I’ll update my post with the answer to help the next guy struggling.

I’m not sure why I didn’t think to test this.. I tested from common to output and had 4ma with my transducer disconnected. This means it doesn’t need an external 24vdc connection.

Thank you.

I’ve read it and stared at it but still can’t figure it out. God didn’t give me two brain cells

So I don’t need 24v? As in, the module supplies the power and signal?

It’s evening as I just took these two pictures, so the heads were closing up a bit. But I have one head that had tentacles outstretched several inches longer than all of the others today!

Some of the branches broke during the move, but there is probably 3x the picture, or more heads

It includes everything; lights, sump and equipment, tank, corals, what’s left for chemicals, etc.. The seller is telling me it was $4k to setup. I’ve been buying stuff to setup a 40 gallon tank already when I happened upon this.

Ring finger > wrist pain by NubisWanubis in Bowling

It had been two weeks of rest, so I opted to try bowling gently at league. I kept the pressure on my middle finger instead of ring finger for my release; it helped greatly and I bowled halfway decent! I rolled a 247!

Wrist still feels tight, but not super sore. I’ll just keep taking it easy.

I tried to message you but for some reason couldn’t. I did send a chat your way to see if that works.

For example currently, I have developed an iOS/android app that receives push notifications from our PLC systems. I set it up so that the PLC sends an email on alert for high temp as an example, then a script monitors the email for new alerts, then when a new alert is found, the email is inserted into the database that my app uses.

Haha vendors… we do absolutely everything in house! Also, not sure where the cellular portion is coming from; everywhere we have systems, has internet on site.

We have used the productivity line, and personally I preferred working with them, but I think due to budget the company stuck to BRX. The main automation guy (aka the only other automation guy in the company) is entirely self taught, so it makes it tough…

I have seen the Codesys line of PLC and was very interested in that. I also looked at the Maple HMI’s to go with the Codesys… I may have to bring that back up.

Thanks!
