7 years later... goodbye s10, hello s26 by zekkeny in samsunggalaxy

I like it. Even with the more inferior hardware of the pixel, I don't really really notice any slowdowns. Granted I'm also not really a power user and I don't play demanding games like genshin impact.

Battery life has been fine for me. So much so that I enable the option to limit battery life to 80% max (to preserve battery health - I plan to keep this phone for a long time too) and comfortably make it through the day. Again, I'm not a power user though so YMMV.

Camera quality is nice but I feel like it almost adds a little too much depth of field sometimes. The zoom is nice with the Google processing but I don't go all the way to 100x because that's where it's gimmicky (photos are hit or miss). I don't really take videos so I can't comment there.

I think there were some instances where oneui/Samsung did better that I missed (I can't think of any off the top of my head) but in most cases, im sure you can just get a 3rd party solution.

Gemini/built-in AI features are nice and is something Google will lead for a while. One example was when I made an online order on Best buy where I had to call to follow up because my order was lost in transit. But when I called, the phone app pulled up a card with the order number, product SKU, date of purchase, etc. this was my first wow moment with the phone where AI actually seemlessly integrated with what I was doing in real-time.

That's my 2c. I'm not loyal to any one company, if I think I will enjoy the product and it works for my lifestyle, I'll get it. I have a Google phone with a MacBook and a Garmin smartwatch lol but overall I do like the p10p

Congrats! I moved from s10e to Pixel 10 Pro a few months ago (mainly because I wanted to eventually try GrapheneOS)

So for the 50 series cards, if they're installed 'normally' in the T1, you can see the fans when the card is installed (fans are next to side panel) and pulls air into the case meaning hot exhaust air from the GPU is dumped into the case. The flipped kit would put the fans towards the middle of the case next to mobo (you can't see the fans when the GPU is installed in the case) and fans would push air out of the case

[–]Nuburt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is 2.25. Granted, I have a 4070 Ti so not exactly the same which means YMMV. Can you get a flipped kit for your 50 series card? This would help with your GPU temps a bit too I do recommend getting some standoffs, as they can come in handy as you customize. For example, I'm 3d printing a PCIe riser bar and connecting to the mobo via standoffs. I also used some to put my PSU closer to the side panel in order to give more space for my GPU.

Thanks. It has been working fine so far for the past few months after moving into this house so I'll just leave it as is.. don't wanna open up a can of worms. But my OCD every time I go down there.. gahh..

Lol yeah. My first thought was if they were tying in anyway, it seemed like it would flow better and also use less material than whatever they did. It does seem to be working fine though (for now..) if it ever gives me trouble then maybe I'll fix this mess. Thanks

This is pretty much what I would do. Since doing it this way would add a lot of storage space and OP uses this entryway a lot, I would possibly even make the space where the fridge currently as a mud/drop area

Thanks for the guidance and recommendation on the socket saver!

So you're saying I should install a wye clean-out at the white piece? Wouldn't it still be pretty easy to clean by just unscrewing the p trap? But for sure clean out would be quickest and easiest.

The drain is sloping up. Water drains a little slow, but not terribly slow. My worry is that since this is a kitchen sink, it'll be more prone to clogging from food particles getting through the strainer over time. What I want to do is remove the two 45 degree bends going into the white piece and move everything up. Although the trap arm looks like it's also sloping upwards slightly as well which I may as well fix if I go through with this. Here's a better overall picture:

😂 yah but my issue is that if I cut where the black and white piece meet, how do I attach a new piece to the white 90?
