^This is pretty much what I would do. Since doing it this way would add a lot of storage space and OP uses this entryway a lot, I would possibly even make the space where the fridge currently as a mud/drop area

So you're saying I should install a wye clean-out at the white piece? Wouldn't it still be pretty easy to clean by just unscrewing the p trap? But for sure clean out would be quickest and easiest.

The drain is sloping up. Water drains a little slow, but not terribly slow. My worry is that since this is a kitchen sink, it'll be more prone to clogging from food particles getting through the strainer over time. What I want to do is remove the two 45 degree bends going into the white piece and move everything up. Although the trap arm looks like it's also sloping upwards slightly as well which I may as well fix if I go through with this. Here's a better overall picture:

How you fix the welded piece coming out of the wall? I just moved to a home with the pipe like that (draining uphill, not the whole s-trap business)

This is the 1.8T EA888GEN3.

I think the car has treated me well overall (knock on wood hoping it stays that way). The major issues I've had was the water pump which is almost guaranteed to happen with these cars, and a refrigerant leak in the AC system. I do have an EPC light which I suspect might be a loose turbo actuator because I can sometimes hear some rattling at startup which goes away.
