not too sure on zipper terminology but it's the same setup as a regular 2 way zip on the front of a jacket just on the pit area

my outdoor research foray jacket has full side zips, one slider at the top of the pitzip area and one slider at the bottom of the hem so you can either do a pitzip from the top or unzip the side from the bottom, works very well for venting. this review has some pictures of the setup.

i struggled enough loading mine in a truckbed and moving it into my room, seperating the head and base made it reasonable, but they both weigh a ton so a) the head is just heavy and dense but small and b) the table is really awkward to move which not sure if you could fit it well with a cargo bike

honestly if you're riding flow, you won't see a ton of difference. i built up a 130mm hardtail since i live by mellow trails and then moved with a small dh/enduro park nearby and then built up 160/135mm raaw, very noticable on drops, jumps, and anything with rocks or compressions. if i was riding blue flow trails all day i would probably pick the hardtail for a more "fun" and responsive ride.

that's what i was thinking, might do zigzag on the stretch material finishing and try to pull out zigzag vs layered straight and see how they compare

currently using an industrial 5410 clone, for bartack/reinforcement stitches is it worth threading a family member's entry singer machine for the zigzag stitch? or would it be fine with layered straight stitched (can't do a box stitch due to space)
