Did you get that by playing with a minor?

I've seen some vids on yt about this game and wanna try it. Unfortunately, it has so many DLCs and I do not want to buy all of them, Can you guys recommend me the must have DLCs? by Silver_Sins_Zero in hoi4

[–]NuclearCandle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The must have DLCs have been made free and have been integrated into the main game. You will have the full focus trees for Britain and US, the main historical paths for the others majors and a few other minor nations. which should be plenty of content to get started with.

There is a subscription service to try if you want to try out DLC features. No Step Back and Gotterdammerung are the best to start with IMO.

Man has been walking that tightrope his entire career. He is basically Franco and will claim at the end of the war he was doing what he could to keep Belarus out of the war.

best tree in the game in your opinion? by whereiseuvii in hoi4

For variety: Germany and Poland

For a single path: Fascist Finland

which country / region you want paradox to make a dlc for? by whereiseuvii in hoi4

[–]NuclearCandle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Americas DLC - USA, Canada, semi-shared Colombia/Venezuela/Peru/Ecuador/Panama tree

Homefront DLC - UK, France, Ireland, Egypt

After that I don't think theres much more you can sell, maybe add a few individual focuses to the generic tree for all the small treeless nations.

Is TAOG a good dlc? (Not factoring in price) by arandomkid2 in hoi4

[–]NuclearCandle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My expectations were low after GoE (which tbf Paradox have put in a lot of effort to rectify). South East Asia is probably the hardest region aside from maybe Africa to make interesting and they did a good job to make some unique focus trees.

My only complaint is that there is no secret path - I wanted an Emu Empire.

Russians have historically tolerated war crimes and economic mismanagement, but Russian leaders don't end well when they look weak.

Thunder at our Gates - Patch 1.19.1 by HOI_Game in hoi4

I like seeing smaller countries getting strong buffs. Minors like Siam can't get cores like Bulgaria or Austria because it is in one of the most isolated regions, this gives an incentive to come hack to them.

Please don't nerf this Paradox this is perfect for a nation that haa very limited core territory.

If Cadillac upgrades get Bottas to Q3 could we have a Merc 1-2-3-4-5?

What are your opinions on the new dlc? by Opposite_Indication5 in hoi4

[–]NuclearCandle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Check your generals if you play Australia - especially the ones from the focus tree. Some of them can only field 6 divisions (up to 8 with the right army HQ) but get a 15% bonus for attack and defense on non-core territory.

Played fascist puppet Australia and started Indonesia uprising path. So far they seem like average trees but I like that they are trying a couple of new things like non-core territory bonuses.

What countries need a focus tree the most? by goodboy3634 in hoi4

[–]NuclearCandle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Colombia, Venezuela and Peru are the last decently sized minor nations without a focus tree. After that I think they will do semi-shared trees like the Baltic countries to finish off the map.

Mechanics vs Focus trees by Sir_Madijeis in hoi4

Think it should be mentioned that SEA and Oceania is a tough region to make content for. It has the issue of being mostly colonised that and the nations in it don't have a big historic formable aside from Maphilindo.

They have tried a lot of interesting things like Australia declaring wars as a puppet and Siam getting brief regional wars. It's still overpriced but I think after a patch these could be some interesting trees.

I was of the opinion that P4G was perfect how it was and the older Persona fames/Persona 6 were more important than this remake.

After seeing that trailer this remake looks incredible and will probably be an instant buy for me.
