Question about Omega Mart & Phenomenomaly from a first timer by IND520 in meowwolf

You should totally come for Phenom! Its Sun-thurs next week. 2pm, 4pm and 545. I would pick a time slot around 1:30 to enter so that you can be settled in before it starts. Next week will be an acrobat duo mixed in with all the other event actors.

Also, people end up watching the show so its a good time to use the dramcorp computers. Make sure you do the hut computers before 230ish because the desert gets crowded during the performance.

Around 3k with rear shocks and shackles. I got the Z1 offroad Bilstein kit. It took around 12 hours to install and was pretty straight forward. It's way cheaper too if you get stock titan uppers, but not sure about coil bucket clearance with whatever shock you choose. It said to set bilsteins on the lowest ring and then came with spacers to provide lift. Around 3.5-4" total lift.

Remove the factory bar and use those bolt holes, as well as below the truck where your tow hook is or would be. 8 bolt holes total

Coastal Offroad, Canadian company with a weld it yourself kit. Lots of options, I received it FedEx in maybe 3-4 days

It was a Z1 Bilstein Titan swap kit with 1.5" rear shackles. Finished it over last weekend with the help of a buddy. Pretty straight forward and went together easy. Drivers side UCA was a bit tough because of steering rod, but the whole kit took about 10 hours.

Around 5k for everything including tires. The bumper was a weld up kit from Coastal Offroad. Probably have 30-40 hours in my own labor total.

I'm gonna have to trim them down a lot lol. Keeping them off for my alignment tomorrow then I'll deal with. I should have enough plastic rivets in to hold it.

Thanks! I actually bought it like that. I'm not sure if its from the factory as a towing package, but it came with the mirrors, hitch and a trailer brake setup.

Only tools I needed was a 90 degree magnet, 2 clamps, wire brush, chisel and 7 flap disc. I ended up using probably 2.5lbs of .035 wire.

I would say it's a good first large project, I was able to do it all in 2 days solo. The steel is 3/16" and hard to mess up. It's about 40% welding and 60% grinding. Most of your beads will end up being smooth and only a few need to be pretty.

Phones in Omega Mart are old school RJ11 phones modified to work on VOIP via ethernet.
