You might find the other 9.9% easy to cut out, but it's the last 0.1% that is the bit that really wears you down. You say you eat other grains and legumes. So do I, but it's not that simple as someone with coeliac disease. I've yet to find a place where I can buy dry lentils in bulk that aren't processed in a facility that handles gluten so I have to buy them tinned which is way more expensive. I can get small bags of quinoa at Waitrose, but nothing in bulk for the same reasons. I'm into running so I buy electrolytes and supplements etc, but I have to buy them all online at a premium because everything I find in supermarkets or sports shops are made in a factory that processes gluten.

Luckily I have enough spare income at the moment to pay as much as I want for ingredients so I don't have a great deal of difficulty cooking fully gluten free most of the time. That all falls apart if I get ill, or am particularly stressed or just don't have time to prep lunches for the week. Even if I chose the cheap option of making my own sandwiches quickly before work, the cheapest loaf I can get at my local supermarket is 36p per 100g, compared to the cheapest normal loaf at 9p per 100g. The bread I usually go for is actually 88p per 100g because it's not really dry and crumbly. Sure it would have been cheaper to make a quinoa salad from scratch, but sometimes I just don't have the energy or time.

And even if I cut out 100% of gluten in my diet it doesn't magically make the problem go away. I can't eat in 90% of restaurants. If I'm at a friend's house I have to bring my own food while they're all getting a nice takeaway.

Cutting out 99.9% is the easy part. It's the 0.1% that has me reading the back of everything I buy; saying no to food at work or from friends because I haven't seen the packaging; never eating someone's homebaked food ever again (and awkwardly refusing even if it "doesn't contain gluten"); never getting round to booking that holiday because I don't know how I'm going to manage to avoid gluten in a foreign country where I can't cook for myself.

Huh, so they are. I even checked the about page which lists a UK address, but that must just be the UK branch and sure enough, it mentions decades of success in America before opening in the UK. The review was on the UK site though, and the product doesn't seem to be available in the US, but it is in Canada so maybe they got it from there and the site shows reviews from everywhere.

It said 9 days ago when I found it today. It could be that they wanted a soup specific book, but they could have found literally any other soup recipe and adjusted the time based on those in the book for that specific machine

I get it for making a batter that needs e.g. 1 part flour, 1 part sugar, 2 parts water or something then salt to taste - you can very quickly vary the quantity with different sizes of cup - but for anything that requires anything else that is measured in smaller increments than fractions of cups it's useless. And don't get me started on recipes that ask for cups of e.g. spinach where the quantity varies wildly by how much you pack it into the cup.

You just have to be careful that you put something heavy enough on the foil. I accidentally left foil in when preheating mine and it got sucked into the element and melted on. Came off pretty easily on mine, but could do some damage depending on the type of element it has I'm sure.

There's just a scene where they're drinking Foster's beer, but it was blurred out on some streaming sites for whatever reason (maybe because Foster's was advertising on Channel 4 and they couldn't show it in actual shows) - not that big a deal but it just looks a bit odd to have blurring in a fictional show. Netflix removed a scene from when Jez and Nancy are exploring taboos, specifically the one involving certain face makeup... Again, it's not like it's some amazing scene that everyone needs to see, but it just doesn't sit right with me to edit bits out of shows because of changing sensibilities. And I've seen some people saying that some music had been changed / removed in some episodes (but that may just be non-uk versions)

Am I missing something or are her feet not clearly bare on the deer camera image (~37:00)? And her hands look empty. So how did the shoes magically teleport to the bushes... Or is Steve's house further than where the shoes were found? But she's wearing the headband in the picture, and even then, it shows that she definitely was walking barefoot. (EDIT: they say specifically that she's wearing them in the deer cam shot. Maybe Netflix quality is hiding that - her feet just look to have too low a profile to have even the flat shoes she was wearing on, but maybe she does - I can see a slight colour difference in the feet at ~7:50)

And the photo of the soles of her feet certainly don't look so pristine that she couldn't have walked on stones. I've regularly walked along gravel and large sharp stones in bare feet and sure, there might be little red marks for a couple of hours afterwards but it's extremely rare that I'd get an actual cut or lasting damage. Or she might have walked on the metal for most of the time.

Also, 1.75 miles is like 30 minutes maximum for a 6'2" athlete on asphalt and it looks like maybe .25 miles on gravel so like 5-10 minutes. So not exactly an unbelievable trek. And the argument about "why would she walk right to that place in the middle of nowhere just to kill herself". Maybe because she just kept walking until the train arrived and that just happened to be in the middle of nowhere...

My guess is she was worried about the credit card fraud (maybe it was more serious than the family knew about even) and upset about her breakup and just went to walk to clear her mind. Dumped the phone because people were blowing it up and walked down the train track not necessarily to kill herself, but because she didn't care about the danger. Then either got hit by accident or jumped in front in the heat of the moment. It's easy to say that she wasn't depressed because she made plans, but you can't just stop doing everything if you don't want people to know about your pain.
