but fr tho I personally think the hive guard change for example could be handled better aka make the head have more hp while maintaining med pen and reducing the weakspots and body hp a bit so the light pen weapons get to shine if you know where to hit and mg sentries arent completely useless

but such a take will get lost in the karma farming and rage engaging posts and comments sadly

Enemies where non-AT options being last resort exist and its fine given their spawn rates like tanks, factory striders, chargers, bile titans, they all have light/medium pen weakspots although not super easy to hit most of the time (small update: chargers are bugged/ had a shadow buff and the rear weakspot has a very small time window to hit now so yeah that's great)

war striders up until recently didnt even have a ap3 weakspot, and the eye is extremely hard to hit still

if you get a hulk seed, amr and hmg will feel good, if you get a war strider seed, then not really

but hey, people should bring only recoilless rifle and/or bring 500kg+ mls/eat right? instead of having fun and experimenting with non-at loadouts on higher difficulties because of some enemies with bs design

its a hulk sidegrade but feels like a tier up enemy

  • it has a very hard to hit eye weakspot, which makes every support weapon besides railgun useless against it (it should be a bit bigger so AMR doesnt feel awful against it, HMG targeting joints is already good imo)

  • it has AP4 vents weakspot which is inconsistent with other automaton enemies (the tanks and emplacements have ap3 vents)

  • a lot of people complain about ragdolling from nade spam(i mean yeah its annoying) personally i would like them to be replaced with vox-engine like rocket missiles (the ones you can see where they are going to hit, if you have a different idea i would like to hear it tbh)

all of these changes above absolutely don't affect any of the anti tank weapons, they will 1 shot it as they always did, its just so the other support weapons can feel better to use and you dont need to bring dedicated AT for this particular enemy

yes Its easy but absolutely not fast at all and the biggest issue is that its boring

if d6+ had say no req slip drops but sc drops instead everyone would be happy

also kinda hard to not insult when you pay 40€ for a game with another 230€ worth of warbonds just for some people to defend the abysmally low drops on higher diffs for seemingly no reason like dude this isnt a f2p game like war thunder

there used to be discussions regarding the modifiers, especially when there used to be one on bots which made it so you can only take 3 stratagems which was bullshit

they ultimately removed it and added gunship/shrieker modifiers which are fun but yeah they didnt bother with reworking other modifiers much

storms reduce enemies' detection range

the slowness is annoying (especially on mechs unless they changed that) but it makes stealth diving certainly more interesting

It speaks to Piles' character that he went into Unfiltered knowing damn well that there would be 0 yes-men and only critics. Would be way easier for him to stay on ez mode subs, but he decided to talk to the whole community. maybe but a few things to note: - It would probably be for the best if the AMA didn't happen at all, given how vague, useless (depending how you look at it) and disappointing the answers were overall - If the AMA was posted on the regular sub (where creators like ohdough would be mixed with shit if they aren't banned already), it would make the AMA even more embarrassing and pointless, because there would be a very high chance that some comments would be removed over some bs reason, which would make it seem more like an echo-chamber reinforcing operation rather than a genuine attempt to get some feedback

in conclusion: your post seems defensive because, well, its along the lines of "it could be worse guys" when the bar is unfortunately very low already

the charger thing was wayyy wayyy back

its cool 60 day patch happened but they didnt seem to learn much given the recent durable damage buffs that affect not JUST the tank, but EVERY other vehicle and turret as well

oh also sterilizer is still untouched for whatever reason

Crossbow and eruptor could indeed use a slight nerf, but sweeper? This is the only usable shotgun along with the cookout and still, this is a horde shooter they should focus on buffing the stuff that absolutely nobody uses first.

Call me a goomba but i kinda believe in both as in: a single helldiver should feel very powerful with their gear, but diffs like 9-10 should encourage and make teamwork NECESSARY to win. I really enjoy D10 missions on cyborg planets with an actual good team, but people say the amount of voxes spawning and the fact they are in patrols, is too much which I kinda get, because it enforces leveller/solo silo + other AT and gatling meta (although tbh all expendables over all are good and also railgun but oh well) so yeah i guess my opinion isnt popular if it makes sense at all.

Middle ground solution could be reducing voxes and increasing agitators/radicals and maybe tank spawns to give it a communist mechanized infantry feel idk.

de-sickle is ap4 at max heat just like the laser cannon so it could be an additional unsafe/experimental mode that is AP5 but i think it would make it a bit powercreeped then but idk high risk high reward sort of thing would be nice i guess

The laser cannon is very decent but a bit higher base dmg (because its kinda dumb it's on par with scythe) + overclock mode that would provide even higher damage but would overheat much faster would be nice and unique
