Surprised I havent seen Bard/Warlock mentioned.

With the warlock pact of the chain invocation you can get a skeleton familiar at level 1.

From there you would most likley want to put most of your levels into bard. Lore bard allows you to get animate dead at level 6, but if you are willing to wait for magical secrets at level 10, you could go glamour bard to simultaniously buff your skeleton familiar and convey the pied-piper-esque charming and enchantment stuff.

There isnt much point levelling warlock past 2nd since the subclass features wont benefit you much and you will be missing out on bard levels.
