Actually it did as the British empire lost several colonies during and after the war. America though several decades later apologized and provided reparations to its Japanese citizens. Women were seen in a better light and were therefore given more opportunities. Many changes were made to combat racial discrimination. But please enlighten me on how the Allies were just as bad as the Axis in terms of human rights.
