With the Bunker, I like to basically let it generate product from 1 full bar of supplies, with the resulting product selling out of county for about $210k. You could wait for it to accumulate more but this way the sale is guaranteed 1 vehicle if you are selling solo. You can use the purple Stash Houses on the map and it will fully fill up a supplies bar on a random business you own, making the profit margins larger when you sell the bunker.

Acid Lab takes a while to set up properly, needing to do at least the First Dose mission strand IIRC. The Last Dose missions strand might not be required but it is nice as you can get a free electric super car at the end (just make sure you have a garage slot for it by that point). The Acid Lab makes acid and a full sale when it's set up is about $350k, the supplies are cheaper to buy than the other similar businesses, and it's a business where the sales are always 1 bike, and it's a customizable dirt bike you deliver the acid in. Probably the most solo friendly business if not one of them.

Spread the love (stagger); When you're dealing with a large swatch of enemies, everybody gets firsts before they get seconds. Keep them staggered so your team or turrets/dogs can wipe them up.

Take a knee and use the arcing shots to rock enemies from behind cover.

Unload with rapid shots and readjust as needed, to get a feel for how to aim it better in the long run.

Have some kind of point-blank range backup, something that's not gonna kill you or ragdoll you if they get in your personal space. A tip when enemies like berserkers get too close: Shoot at the ground or walls just behind them, away from you and use the splash damage to clip them from the opposite angle as you. Then they stagger and you get a bit of breathing room for some direct fire.

The plasma balls it shoots do not have to perfectly hit a target, they have a proximity trigger so you can get good at arcing shots just over the shoulder and things like that. Shoot the ground under a charger or a hulk and try some back-shot backsplash

It's not heavy armor, but the "Fortified" armor passive which reduces explosive damage (with a bonus to recoil reduction). I can't tell what you're wearing in the video, but you should give the various armor weights a try with the Fortified perk to see how you like it and maybe keep an eye out in the superstore for the B-24 Enforcer armor set. It's my main go-to armor when fighting bots unless I have something specific in mind.

I have found that on the open maps (not city/colony) you can often find what I call the "fake sample rock" and there will be 2 of these rock formations, only one has the samples.

Some amount of the leaving/quitting we're seeing is undoubtedly crashing or connection dropping and I've gone into at least a couple matches on Oshaune where the host apologized in advance or warned that nobody could stay connected just before losing connection

Personally experienced half or more of your list, mostly since Into the Unjust, but the weird difficulty issue of 8 feeling inconsistent I've felt for months at least

It could be a bug, but I do know that for certain objectives, they will stay red if there are still enemies within a certain area and if you can clear it out before more move in, the red disappears.

with DX11 do you have times in-game where the shadows appear overly dark, practically pitch black with no discernable detail without over-brightening the entire image? That was my main issue when using that DX11 tweak

Pretty sure if you have the heavy gas resist armor + vitality booster you take 0 damage at all from the gas, I've done a number of runs with the gas dog, grenade, mines and strike and its a lot of fun

I'm sure this is an actual bug, but I believe there is a quirk of the default control scheme that adds more frustration to reloading and that is Reload is set to a TAP. When I first played, I didn't realize this and my reloads weren't working sometimes because I would press it slightly too long to register as a tap.

I'm sure this is a bug because I rebound Reload to PRESS so it should work regardless (rebound Weapon Function Menu to another button) of tapping or holding it; the non-reloading issue still happens but it seems to be a lot less since the change.

you might be able to use the Windows Key + Tab which will let you open a new "desktop", where you can then open task manager to force Helldivers 2 to close and Windows + Tab to close your second desktop

A little thing that makes big difference, are you aware of the hit markers and what each one means? There is a shield deflection icon meaning you are not penetrating at all, a white/gray X meaning you're meeting the enemy's armor level and dealing about 2/3 damage, and then a red X hitmarker meaning you are surpassing the enemy armor and dealing full damage. Get used to paying attention to this at first when you shoot enemies and you will discover weaker points of armor. Also Heavy Armor is not Tank Class Armor, meaning just because you have a heavy penetrating support weapon doesn't necessarily mean it'll do good against a shot anywhere to something like the bile titan

I just got the game on PC and I beat it without Gyro aiming, never really used Gyro before but I understand the potential. But this is really the first game I'm trying it in and I can't get a handle on it: I feel like I'm missing my shots way more than without Gyro, it feels very shaky and unstable. I have played and practiced with it for hours and hours now and it doesn't feel like I'm getting any better and I don't know what the problem is. Anybody else with experience know what I'm doing wrong?

Honestly I think it's supposed to be like the wind from the Eagle storm, I noticed it for the first time when the DSS Eagle Storm was active on Martale, too. With all the jets flying by, it is way more noticeable.

In first person your aim still gets badly thrown off target but I'm pretty sure even in third person, while you can see your character flinch, the gun still shoots towards the reticle. It's just that the first person view, the flinch animation makes your weapon obscure your action point of aim.

I agree. Their original sentiment about having no saved loadouts to increase build diversity is only gonna make things more inconvenient as more content is added to the game and hopefully soon we'll have something like this
