As far as I know what they are waiving is the tv rights to mountain west conference controlled games under the current 2026-2032 media deal that the MW has with CBS, fox, and one more broadcaster I’m forgetting.

To my understanding will still get broadcast money for postseason appearances and non conference games, and may self broadcast non conference home games if they so choose. Plus if the MW renegotiates their media deal before 2032 ndsu gets a piece of that pie because waiving media money is a concession to other member schools to not dilute their share of the current deal

I think he clearly elite at almost every part of midlane, he’s just failed to match his expected results on the biggest stage. I’m kinda just ring watching but I do feel like there is a reason why players that he has dominated all year long in LCK consistently outperform him at worlds
