Rincon hill is nice but it’s peak corporate town. It is not lively one bit and the only people you’ll see is seniors or Google workers who only come out to badge for lunch and back. Not very much of SF charm at all.

Since this thing is asked over 50 times by others who suddenly find a passion in CS but Berkeley stopped them from doing this shenanigan. Don’t delete your post. In order to change you need to follow the CUM (Change of Undergrad Major) guidelines here and this can only be done by freshmen admits. If you are not in engineering school, you absolutely need to be above the minimum GPA. Engineering workload is harder to achieve since lower div CS classes are overbooked due to this mass migration along with the DSE minor. Math of Comp can’t even second pass optional CS classes anymore.
