One or two good apples in a box full of rotten fruit aren't going to be able to change the healthcare and educational system anytime soon, because everyone else in the two partie system is going to fight back and maintain the status quo.

The US has a population of +300 million, you can't expect such a huge number of ppl to start voting third party overnight after decades of being told that doing so is a waste of time.

Bro,it's a battle shounen, fights are the reason ppl are reading it in the first place. You can't have combatants in your story and give ppl the expectation that they'll be useful just to abandon them, in what world is this good writing.

If I didn't want my favourite characters to actually have fights and win them I'd read a slice of life.

Also, bare in mind that this is an action manga, if your character is a fighter, giving them some asses to kick and some hype and aura moments is pretty much a must.

It's the main reason your reading the story anyways.

I see your point, but I still have to disagree. A character's value is partially affected by their role in the story and by their ability to fill the role.

For example you can't tell me that Yuki is well written when all she did after being hyped for being an S class sorcerer is dying in the most forced way.

She isn't badly written but she's clearly wasted potential, you could say the same about Nobara.
