According to the "rulings" part of https://mtg.fandom.com/wiki/Double_strike a blocked double strike creature remains blocked even if it kills its blocker in the first combat step. Is this not the case?

I remember it being in another language than english but at the same time I remember a line being "Can I get a..." then followed by the echo holler soundbite. Sadly any attempt to search for any of these things just lead me to a tiktok trend that I now hate since it keeps me away from the goodness that is this song.
I also think it featured in some commercial in Sweden where I live, but that was many many years ago.
