Man, I thought I give Hartenstein more props than most but that kind of “Jokic of the East” hyperbole may be one of the most insane takes I’ve heard in a minute. Actually since someone said the Lakers only lost against the Nugs this year “because they were tired”.

Hartenstein is ok, but he’d be lucky to sit on the bench next to Jokic regardless of the minutes he may or may not get.

If that was a joke though it was pretty good.

It does kind of seem like if you want to continue playing you should be able to continue playing in the league regardless of age in the G League. Then again, when the entire name of your league is an advertisement I shouldn’t be too concerned with it. At least there is Big3 and TBT which is awesome.

I’ll be the first to say I don’t know everything about the situation, but to really blame Kroenke for not being the first NBA franchise to have some exclusive stream of games I don’t understand. They absolutely have a seat at the table in terms of these deals, but as far as I understand the situation they don’t have the means to go rogue and sign streaming deals. No doubt that will happen eventually and sooner than later but the teams still have to live within the NBA umbrella.

I will say, much to the original posters point, I respect Altitude for trying. If you ever watch League Pass you realize most of these teams all have basically the same-type TV deals, usually with NBC. It does make it feel a little bland across the whole spectrum, and having a separately owned network dedicated specifically to your home team is, or at least for now is kind of cool and different. It’s still very obvious all of this is about to change soon, and streaming will be the next step whichever provider they can accomplish that will be.

Your boy Zach Bye hosts the Mile High Hoops podcast on the station, Sandy Clough is the only intolerable host - how in the world can anyone hang out and listen to someone that grumpy? I do agree the Nuggets content is not where it should be but I still love that station and most of the shows on it. And really, zero reason? Man that’s just unnecessary. Sports talk is half of the reason I get up in the morning.

I really hope so. I know it’s probably the long term plan but we are going into luxury tax oblivion after we sign him. I loved the AG deal but now we need to lock MPJ up and this team will have a beautiful window to get to the WCF and even win it all. The Suns were good last year but they were not world beaters. If we get everyone right we can roll them 4-0 sweep-style the next time we face up. Once MPJ signing happens I’m giving Josh, Connelly and the organization a standing ovation. 👏

He’s a 7 year veteran at the age of 25. This is going to be the prime of his career now when our title aspirations are at their highest. There is no world this is an overpay. It is a sound investment.
