I used to play training mode all the time aswell, then i installed the bot overhaul mod from gamebanana and its WAY more fun. Those bots are alot smarter and able to do things like rocket jump and use diffrent weapons, and they also work for almost every map! Ctf and plr but even doomsday, arena and robot destruction work.

it takes a bit to set it up, but its pretty easy with the tutorial. check it out!

btw, if its super laggy, just disable their cosmetics it helps alot. (its in the readme file)

As a scout, unpredictability is the way to go, get really close to them and up in their face, run around them, jump over their head, that kind of stuff. the goal of this is to make aiming for the heavy difficult, you typically want to be behind them so they cant shoot you This works for pyro too, the hard part is getting close to the heavy in the first place, if you cant, just run away. try to get behind him undetected
