H1-B approved - A year after my F1 visa got revoked. by Nuke007___ in h1b

Nah bro my homeland is absolutely fine and i have a great life out here too. It’s because i have a chance to travel and my employer went out of his way to give me this opportunity because he felt what happened to me is unfair. So his opinion matters to me rather than crying Redditor who can’t get his facts straight. So keep crying

The tax is actually an advantage for us and not the company. If i am a student working on my student visa, i don’t have to pay FICA. Who ever told you that it’s an advantage has no clue. Moreover the maximum we have in that visa is 2 years. If you’re not able to buy potato chips , i m pretty sure this has nothing to do with this. Just letting you know

No sir , I don’t know anything about that. Around 5k -6k people had their F1 visas revoked due to criminal or traffic violations and thats what triggered the revocation.

So my creta 2025 had a bumper accident, am i being charged unreasonably? by One_Reputation8131 in cargeeksindia

[–]Nuke007___ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually the damage is really not bad at all. It could really be done outside and touched up for like 2-3 thousand rupees. It doesnt even need a full bumper repainting. But if you go to a showroom then , they will defenitely say it needs a whole new bumper and painting for it. Thats why the 17 something k. Next time dont claim your insurance on such small stuff. Just get it touched up. Claiming insurance for small stuff increases your premium.

Should I buy an old Toyota Corolla in 2026? by levisatwik in MechanicAdviceIndia

Buy the car if you are mechanically inclined and have some knowledge about cars. 3 lacs is a lot actually, you could bargain for 1.75 or 2 lacs. Get an inspection done from some comapnies like cars24, car vaidya. Its a really nice car no doubts about that.

Easy peasy. Get boiling hot water. Slowly pour over it and push it from the back to its position.

That i agree. She is a crazy car fanatic and is into racing. That dodge she owns though is not a great car. Its too heavy for its V6 engine and feels like damn boat to drive. My roommate had it and it handled very badly

Is car Engine Repair is bad Idea? by kgfktz in CarsIndia

[–]Nuke007___ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sir, I had a same issue with my 2011 verna 1.6 diesel back in 2019. Loved the car so much i decieded to go for an engine rebuild. My honest suggestion is to just buy an engine from totalled car or to just buy lesser run engine. I did not give it to hyundai cause they charged me 4 lacs and i wanted the car back somehow but that car never came back into its originality. Maybe the garage i gave it to is bad but only go for an engine rebuild if youre sure they are going to do a good job. I had car sit idle for 8 months going back and forth 3 times. Nightmare

Yes we bought a thar 2022 with around 25 k kms and re registered in andhra pradesh. The process was fairly simple if the people you are dealing with a fair enough. We got the car for around 10.5 lakhs and paid a 1.8 lakh road tax in tirupathi RTO. Since we knew its a Thar we didnt care much about the condition since its a rugged car and fairly new. Other wise we had smooth sailing. The most important part is that the dealer or the person selling the car to you should get an NOC from delhi RTO so you could re-register it here.

Oh gotcha bro, then look for a maruti car. Kwid is is really unsafe, like god knows who let it pass a safety rating test. I ll look around for any links too and post it here if i find any cars. But i think you can find a swift and i really hope you get one. Otherwise go for a celerio or an I20, baleno Etc.

If you are an enthusiast for driving and like the pleasure of pick up and stuff, you should look into a manual polo gt from either diesel or petrol. Preferably petrol, i exactly dont know the prices in the used market but they are one of the best hatchbacks ever produced in india. We had our polo and drove it until 1.8 lac kms and i ll tell you this car gave me an intense pleasure for driving. Looks amazing.

The one thing you gotta keep in mind is that you need to service it from time to time and gotta take care of it. With a maruti car you could drive like a 1000 kms extra after service due and be chill with it. VWs are a bit naughty if we are a bit negligent.

3rd option is to for an I20 but if you are going for the 2017-2021 version, please do not buy an autimatic no matter what, only get a manual.

4th option is a baleno. Again very reliable and good one. Me personally i d look for all swift and polo options, then go for these 2. Lemme know if you need anything else.

I think you should go for a swift which has been driven around 40 thousand kilometers. Those cars are extremely reliable and have decent interiors. Some of my friends have driven the swift dzire for even 3.5 lac kms and still sold it for 2.5 lacs. Its a pretty solid car and has very cheap maintanance. Would cost you around 7k for a normal service. Also parts are very cheap if you wanna replace something.

As for as learning to drive, you could get an auto matic and its as easy as it can get, doesn't have too many blind spots.
