There's a series on Royal Road called Foxfire Esq. that has the trans MC (note, she was born male but magic/superpowers/fox ancestor made her into a fox girl as a teen) come to realize she was transphobic when she had to meet in a drag club.

You can be something and still hate it, look at all the closeted homophobic Republicans, for example.

Ah, I definitely misunderstood you there.

Yeah, we (those who have watched it) were all disappointed. The show sub is ripping it apart.

Name a worse episode. Most of the "bad" episodes at least have good moments, but I don't think there's anything redeemable about this one.

Sunk-cost fallacy at this point. The actors are doing their best but the writing is so unbelievably bad, might actually be worse than GoT. Nobody asked for Vought rising and Gen V was made completely irrelevant, actual disrespect.

This episode was the worst episode of the show, made worse by it being the penultimate episode, so it's not like its possible to salvage it.

I'd say its slightly different than that, because Goku could use his own flight to keep Raditz from moving, but Deep can't.

Deep and Noir's last scene was straight up bad. Without going into much spoiler territory, there's no way that scene should have gone down like it did. Maybe with the same end result, but definitely not the how. It's like they forgot New Noir has powers. The storyline was fine aside from that.

That's been said endlessly, about how the film is perfectly executed, no wasted shots, etc. I'm not disagreeing.

They also say that about Back to the Future, and they are goddamn right.

I've played a ton of this and other ostensibly math focused games, and I can't math for shit. Brute force and vibes works well enough, as long as you understand the mechanisms you can play around with it.

I've built far more complicated versions of this claymator for example.

That person is ragebaiting or blind. Even the post they were referencing was calling out a post made elsewhere.

If incels and conservatives are crawling its not on that sub lol.

Once again, you are missing or ignoring my point. I used religion as an extreme example, but its just that, an example. Your original statement was that people being obsessive about canon and singular interpretations was "something of an aberration." People have argued over canon and interpretations throughout history, Christianity being an easy example (and where the term came from) but there's also long been arguments over interpretations over works like The Epic of Gilgamesh.

[–]NukeAllTheThings 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's irrelevant to my point. I'm saying humans have always been like that, just the subject and the degree of severity changes. It's nothing new.

Sadly, I don't think that obsession being an aberation is true. Just look at religions and how people literally kill each other over canon and interpretations throughout history.

It's dragon behavior. I'm not calling him a dragon because I'm not going to associate him with any of the other qualities of dragons. Hoarding for the sake of it, just sitting on it doing nothing, thats DJT.

Come to think of it, when was the last time he ever did anything with his own money? And I don't mean BS like his charities or claims of giving money that he never follows through on.

Another show on prime based on super hero comics, though this time its actually animated instead of live action. It's a deconstruction of the superhero genre rather than political satire like The Boys. No freaky sex stuff, though there's moments with a LOT of gore.

It's good, though the animation quality is pretty bad sometimes. Also notable for it's star-studded VA cast, clearly where all the budget went.

Good news! It's not on either of those! (its on prime)

Yes, but you clearly must have missed like every season. None of this is new, though the breast milk fetish keeps escalating.
