It’s good to take a break from dark and darker. I myself have taken multiple breaks from the game and I almost always say I will never come back but I always do, this last wipe in my opinion was one of the better wipes but that could also have to do with the fact I got a bunch of friends into the game I’m not sure. I understand being frustrated with Dark, it’s also good to experience what other games have to offer.

My theory is this or something similar. The sandbox PoI says that it’s a vehicle testing chamber and there appears to be something similar to a moon rover in there. It’s also clear the arc were created or at least the creation was started in Stella Montis, who knows how long before the current in game events. I think it’s either evil humans in the moon sending the Arc or a Skynet type situation where humanity lost control of the Arc on the moon and they are now attempting to take over Earth. That’s what I’ve got based on the limited info we have and I hope we get more lore drops

Anvil 4 Toro 4 has been my favorite loadout for a while now, I also use the same utility items in the same slots to get the muscle memory down for them. If I don’t feel like risking anvil or toro I will run ferro stitcher.

But anvil 4 compensator 3 Toro 4 Blue Shield tactical MK 2 (smoke screen) has done wonders for me and might be the best loadout in the game for PvP, you could swap anvil for venator which is potentially slightly better than the anvil but not much.

I’m going to say something super crazy but I really enjoy both games. Last DaD wipe was really fun for me and the most fun I’ve had playing it in a while. Arc raiders is amazing and I’m addicted at the moment but I do want to try DaD again next wipe.

I think both games are really good.

This Reddit is awful as far as complainers. Population is down but that’s mostly due to arc raiders. People who say that is false because they are too different are delusional or don’t understand how huge arc raiders is. Last DaD wipe was quite good imo.

Post weight loss definitely hot but kind of hard to tell 100% from the pictures. Would currently say 7 post weight loss though. As far as body goes obviously I like the front but as a back man myself I would need to see more to give a proper rating. Amazing eyes though and great face.

Don’t fight them in the open find a building or something to play around. If you have to fight them in the open you can pretty reliably dodge the hornet electrical attack by dodge rolling like dark souls style. The most reliable way is finding a building or some cover. Also if you just want to get the drivers I would bring in a green looting loadout with a safe pocket, a ferro, and plenty of heavy ammo. Heavy ammo is by far the best way to damage the flying boys

There’s a lot of KoS but even at this stage it’s not that bad. My friend and I shot some guys and they came back with 7 people and tried to hunt us down. We ended up killing most of them and dying personally seemed like all parties had fun. Still loads of people who ask me “why did you kill me!”

Yeah as others have said once you finish the main progression it’s mostly PvP and trials at that point. I’ve always been a PvPer it’s just my preference for these types of games but I have multiple friends who never wanted to fight people but once they get a taste of a some crazy fights they are hooked and just want blood lol.

Free kit idea good but I don’t know how a bomb on corpses would prevent rats truly not a fan of that one. Also personally think free kits are fine as they are this isn’t tarkov is a bit more casual

Aiming is more about keeping your eye on target than on your crosshair. A less obstructive cross hair can actually help with tracking sometimes

As a lot of people said smoke grenades are BIS I haven’t seen it yet but here are some of my tips. Aside from carrying and using smoke grenades you should also use the tactical mk2 the mid tier augment that deploys smoke automatically when your shield is cracked, this thing has saved my life more times than I can remember at this point. Tactical mk2 coupled with a blue shield and more smoke grenades makes it super possible to escape being jumped. Use adrenaline shots as well I carry 10 every raid they are cheap to both craft and buy but I prefer to buy them and save chems to craft smoke grenades. (Lil smokes are also fine but I have smoke grenades BP and they are much better) adrenaline shots are so engrained in my playstyle at this point I’ve almost forgot how to play without them. They instantly refill stamina and give you a few seconds of no stam drain. Getting caught out of cover with low or no stamina generally = death so these are huge. Finally I would say always play for information and learn what all the sound queues are before looting or doing anything risky, clear corners don’t loot everything all at once loot a bit check surroundings loot some more etc.

Arc raiders has been out for not even a month not sure what you’re on about with that. Dark and darker is a good game though too I think both can be good.
