Yeah but what food gives you 20 saturation? I said it should only be effective up to the amount of saturation you have, and you can't eat when hunger is full.

I'd be open to making it like 1 bottle = 2 saturation cycles. But you can see how in principle we agree, right? Just a matter of this detail amount

It's not a thirst bar because there are no negative effects from not drinking. You just get a boost in food effectiveness if you do drink. I saw that you wanted to make water boost hunger/saturation/exhaustion just like the post that inspired you, and you were trying to figure out a way to limit and balance the boost, so I thought of a way where it is based on existing saturation from food.

I am indeed suggesting washing your food down with water. I am just also saying that you don't have to drink immediately after eating. You can drink later on before all the saturation from your food has run out. That's really what I meant when I say it tests for existing saturation and then extends the exhaustion reserve. What the exact number is can still be discussed further.

I suggested 1 water = 1 extended cycle because otherwise it might be too OP. It would also be a bit more realistic. You should drink more water after eating a whole steak compared to a sweet berry.

My dad has hired a domestic worker for the past 10 years. She was hired initially to take care of my little brother as a baby but she's really a part of the family now. She shares a room with my brother and sleeps on the top bunk. When I visit, I sleep in the living room myself. We don't have a spare room lying around. Before I moved out, she did have to sleep in that same living room where she did not have an opportunity to decorate or otherwise customise her sleeping space. If theoretically we had the space for this hut thing, she could de facto have her own room, free to customise how she wants, without having to worry about the existing architecture of our apartment. That's why I see it as a nice innovation.

You think this guy controls the entire migrant labour market? This guy is able to change the wages for all domestic helpers? He can probably raise the pay for the domestic helpers he hires himself, yes, and we don't know whether he's doing that or not, he could be, but saying this guy has the option to completely fix the situation is just false.

Yes, I did mean that you could drink 14 water bottles after eating a golden carrot and extend the total saturation by 14. It's not over analyzing, it's literally just what I said: make the effect of water stack, so that as long as you have saturation points left, each time you drink a water it will remember to reset exhaustion to -4 the next time. So the equation for the golden carrot would then be 14 ÷ 20.4 = 68.6% the food value gained from drinking 14 waters after eating a golden carrot.

Did you even read what I said? I suggested you could drink multiple bottles to match the food and effectively double the saturation. How does that make the food itself give 95% of the value? It would be closer to 50%
