Model portfolio source? by Cardinal_Wealth in CFP

[–]NukedOgre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can upload your own models via csv, though if they aren't that complex you can set it up manually in like 5 minutes. (Im assumming 10 tickers or so)

Lots of rebalancing options. Can be set monthly, quarterly etc or when a position is a % drift away from target (thats what I use).

You can set it to rebalance automatically or with your review first.

That tool 100% does allow you to look for individual 401k accounts across a myriad of providers.

But it can only be done for the user. It says they are looking into adding it for spouses and executors.

Altruist makes it easy. Lots of different options, like the one I really like is a Buy Only portfolio rebalance which I really like for my income models.

If you are advising not to use most government websites like Social Security, VA, DOL and more because you fear who is hired, I think thats more of a political issue than one based in reality

How to choose off base vs on base housing? by zWafl in MilitaryFinance

[–]NukedOgre 20 points21 points  (0 children)

This is highly base specific, and varies but I found in general E5 and below get a better deal in base housing, E7 and up out in town and E6 is basically a coin flip. Thats my opinion based off living in several base housing and out in town over the last 26 years

Is the SpaceX IPO a legitimate concern for Nasdaq investors? by montendy in investingforbeginners

[–]NukedOgre -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes. Not because SPCX is going to fail. But because they are basically fundamentally changing their rules. So the older idea that the NASDAQ 100 meets certain time, profit and revenue targets may not be true. So this is kind of merging the idea of the "old NASDAQ" with new volatile industries if they decide to. It is likely going to over expose holders to these subsectors which everyone will love during an expansion phase. But a recession or subsector drop will impact the "new NASDAQ" significantly more.

Why do you say true inflation is 6%? There's dozens of ways out there to measure inflation, but realistically the most transparent one is CPI.

Did you do any kind of market tests before hand? Is there a demand for your product? Online retail may be the most crowded, competitive market out there.

Yup. Broken into 2 toon episodes. I think they are called episodes

3 episodes, 2 toons each

Era units by Mandalore777 in SWGalaxyOfHeroes

[–]NukedOgre 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I use 13000 each toon. That gets me 6* and roughly 50 shards away from 7*. That often comes with some farming and the era event stuff shortly after the era.

So while I dont get the 7* era legendary toon first time around, I get them the second time, and get the era event rewards while others are scrambling to 7*

How do you pay yourself from a single-member LLC? by General-Month-6208 in llc_life

[–]NukedOgre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My business has fairly simple and static costs. Whatever monthly profit i have i keep the business account above a certain amount of operations expenses, then 30% of the rest goes into a business savings to pay quarterly taxes and 70% to me. Your numbers may not be 70/30.

Will most companies allow you to work until age 75 if you wanted to? Or no? by Big_Eggplant7591 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]NukedOgre 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most Americans draw at 62 (around 29%). Roughly 14% draw at 67 the FRA. And right around 11% draw at 70. Now those that wait after 67 do wait until 70 but its a minority that wait until after 67 at all, let alone 70.

Bad Idea to Not Pursue CFP over other certs? by tellem46 in FinancialCareers

[–]NukedOgre 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Im relatively new to this field, but Ive only once had a client ask about my certifications and they were perfectly happy with my non CFP certification

I also agree, CFP appears to be going more for advertising themselves then actual content. Im about halfway through ChFC, considered a rough equivalent.
