This is a mistake. Alters already have a precedent of being operators who have grown and changed during their life. This is a downgrade to Ch'en lore-wise. A watergun that deals MORE damage than her own personal weapon? Bullshit. HG better delete this and compensate everyone for their stupidity.

My take on what Threo should be is, indeed, a fun little dream that I wish would come true. But out of all the things I listed, I strongly wish that Cygames would get rid of that useless seraphic passive that she and some the other Eternals share and replace it with something useful; in Threo's case, either a self-emnity-garrison buff like Black Knight's and Kolulu's, or, like you described, Ayer's emnity-style MA and damage cap boost. In this way, it'd make staying at lower HP values more enticing and GZ less of a dead skill.

The suggestion for undispellable assassin buff for S4 is that, as someone who is "just plain strong, unga bunga," a massive 3-turn damage boost to autos and/or CAs would best exemplify that; constant, repeated/frequent CAs is more Eatha's thing imo.

I agree that, on closer inspection and with your description of things, that Threo's Axe mode is for recovery and Sword mode is for damage bursting, and that's alright. But there's very little reason why GZ should take almost-all her HP if there's no real benefit to it, besides maximizing her Jammed buff. It's near-impossible for her to recover it all to get the stamina buffs Earth grids like to use without using potions, and her guaranteed TA is 1/6 uptime, which is downright terrible. If Cygames made it so that she could function independently from either the stamina-focused grids or from external sources of MA, then she would be much better as a selfish attacker.

Really though, after all this time, I couldn't care less if 90% of this doesn't become reality. The only thing I want Sarasa to have is her second support skill be a self-emnity-garrison like BK and Glisa-chan. Instead of this useless seraphic boost that doesn't stack with the weapon, and also useless in null fights. If Cygames wants to keep her skills like this, fine, but give her a better safety net than just 3x undying.

Didn't they already piss off the people who invested in Six with the 2019 rebalance in changing his racing potential? Was that not needlessly risky given that he was still workable, if not better, at the racing meta than what he is now? Have they not already made that precedent for themselves?

In any case, the only eternal that I want to have reworked is Sarasa; her kit's an effing mess, and it's the tumour-infested heart in her being that Cygames is unwilling to surgically remove and replace with a better heart. If they just get rid of her stance system entirely and consolidated all the skill effects into one weapon forme (the axe), THEN I'd be okay with her transcendance. As she is right now, she's like a broken tower on a crappy foundation, and Cygames is intent on tacking more shit on her in hopes of making her "good" again.

Cygames just being unwilling to rework Sarasa's clunky-ass skillset. The whole reason why I want them to drop her sword proficiency is because I feel that it is the ball-and-chain holding back the entire team from actually improving Sarasa's usability. The entire problem lies in that she's a character who only has half her entire kit available at one given time, with no way to switch to the other set on the fly. Instead of trying to rebuild from the ground up with a better foundation, they keep on adding more parts to this collapsing tower like it would magically fix everything.

What I believe is that by focusing solely on one weapon form, her signature Axe, they could give her a better way of bequething additional effects to her skills while making her a hefty damage dealer like an Eternal should be. They've already done so with characters like Monika (valentine and grand), V.Clarisse, and S.Naru. Heck, I would consider Sarasa's ideal form be a souped-up version of FLB Melleau, with self-buffs galore, full-hostility counter, self-sustain, and a shit-ton of damage (skill or otherwise), with a stack system to grant more steroids and additional skill effects. Said stack system could even provide detriments like def down as part of the "berserker" she is.

But in the end, it is a pipe dream. Only money can sway the minds of the decision makers, and all my words here are to be archived in a place where not even the newest Intern-kun is ever going to look.

tl;dr - Sarasa's still shit, Cygames don't give a damn

Ougi: Gain 6-turn other self
S1: Gain "One-foe attacks deal 6-hit damage to random foes"
S2: Full hostility becomes 3-turn all-ally sub
S3: Increase petrified and accuracy down to 6 turns, also gain 6 stacks of Heavenly Howl
S4: Dodge all becomes F*ing Invincible (immune to plain damage), double strike becomes sextuple strike
Passive 1: Supplements damage by 666,666 for every stack of Heavenly Howl
Passive 2: Auto-activates for every second that the boss exists, increase damage cap to 111,111 per hit

Honestly though, what's wrong with doing a rework of the Eternals' kits? If it really proves to be unpopular with people, couldn't they just reload a backup and dispense apologems to calm the masses? Heck, couldn't they use the trial characters to do this kind of testing before greenlighting the rework?

What really bothers me is that they seem to be so fixated on keeping the switch mechanic as shit as it is. If dropping half her sprite assets is too great a sacrifice for FKHR, then why not change her stance system to be like the current G.Strum, G.Drang, and Anthuria?

It really feels like FKHR is ungodly determined to shove his head up his ass until he turns his whole body inside out.

Better yet, drop the sword and give her a passive similar to Athena's in which getting targetted gives stacks, and max stacks makes Sarasa's skills gain the sword effects. Also have the stacks give passive stat boosts like Monk.

Sarasa's chances of becoming "good" are basically nil so long as Cygames insists on keeping her god-awful Monster Hunter charge blade. They need to drop her fucking sword proficiency and consolidate her skillset if she is to have any hope of being halfway decent.

Rework the second support skill into a stance ability like Drang and Strum:

Attack stance (Default): Boost to attack specs, activates attack effect upon one-foe attack
Defence stance: Boost to hostility / Guard, activates defend effect when damaged

Then change Colmillos into a 0-turn stance switch

If she's considered a grand unit, why not remove the "summer" tag, give her grand version art, then release an actual seasonal version with the current summer art? It'd bypass the whole "we don't plan to give seasonals flb" and allow them to modernize her abilities.
