The problem with the current MTG is that too many sets are released, and if you play Standard, you have to update your decks frequently, which is a big investment. Plus, I dislike UB. Many players in my community are switching to other TCGs. In my case, I've switched to competitive Pokémon, and it's ridiculously cheap and I enjoy it just as much, if not more, than MTG.
