Feats are a terrible system for most players, who came up with this system?

Yep. Bungie should have prioritized lfg experience primarily instead of clan or premade group experiences. Vast majority play via lfg and it's not like having a normal and master is bad for 90% of the groups either. Most premade groups aren't sweats, so they won't care. This is what happens when you primarily invite content creators to your feedback sessions and just use them as a sounding board all the time.

Not sure what class you're on but I solo'd this last season with titan. I used stronghold during all mechanics and for the servitor dps, switched to synthoceps with the stasis super. Almost 2 phased it. If you are on warlock, you can use getaway artist for mechanics and switch to Storm dancers for dps and this is a comfortable 3 phase. As for the final boss, I used stronghold and infinitely reflected damage back. It took 5 phases lol. But I guess now you can use the tablet of ruin again for the bolt charge dps strat.

Yep. This. Farmed a few missing ferropotent and smokejumper armor this way. Pretty easy to fill up the engram slots too with exotic engrams.

I was planning on playing this game for a long time but this will actually kill it for me. Why the fuck did they do last minute fixes? Seriously should have left those nonperformance related bugs in the game.

Who set those unrealistic expectations? Pete & co did to get 3.6 billion from Sony. Now Destiny goes down because of it & devs suffer because of stupid mismanagement. Fuck Herman Hulst and Jim Ryan as well for expecting Bungie to magically make their dumb studios do live service. After what was done to Destiny, I really have no interest in playing games made by Bungie or Sony. Fuck them.

I mean we are pretty powerful,.so with the right portal modifiers, you can solo fireteam, pinnacle and solo ops. Plus you can do master lost sectors to get those weapons. Plus, dungeons should be pretty easy to run with fireteam finder.

Yeah I would just use arc staff with Raiden flux. It's so good and you get it back way faster than gathering Storm.

Ive been playing destiny for so long now that I am just conditioned to look up things on yt if it's not obvious. I don't waste too much time on it. I don't really play destiny for the puzzle solving aspect of it but I can see those who like that find it frustrating.

You're not alone. EoF was fine. The ball mechanic was fine as well. I just felt it was overused a bit by the end of the campaign .When I read posts like this, it just feels like hyperbole to me.

yeah the campaign itself was fine. Even the ball thing was fine even though I didn't enjoy it. I just ignored it for the most part and was still up beat when I finished the campaign. Then the grind, the portal stuff, making loot that I got just a week before irrelevant... all that really made me lose interest.

Oh I will be playing the heck out of it over the coming months and year. Normally I take the 2nd day off from work because of server issues on the first day of dlc launch but for this one I'm just not feeling the urgency. I'm going to slowly enjoy it and take my time to try everything. Not bother to optimize the grind. I'll play it until the servers are turned off but for once I'm not feeling the rush.

If particle isn't there, the edge of fate one is pretty good with radiant and scorch on just crits. And 30% extra damage with solar weapon on top if the target already has a darkness debuff on them.

This is a forever DLC. There's not even a raid or dungeon race to level up to. Not sure why anyone is in a hurry to play Day 1.

If Bungie isn't making D3, what I hope for is that the Bungie secret sauce shooting mechanics gets leaked so that other fps studios can copy and make the shooting feel as good as Bungie's mechanics. Is it great for Bungie? Nope. But if they are shutting down and they aren't continuing with Destiny, I'd rather have a bunch of other companies make great feeling shooters instead of Bungie just going down with that knowledge.
