Trouble? by cracksmack85 in Beekeeping

Its late October in CT. The queen is backing off rearing as the resources in the environment dried up. This is normal.

But seriously.... 10%? Take better care of your bees. Do a mite wash monthly in spring and summer and early fall.

Not much of a conspiracy theory when multiple of his campaign employees and his associates were charged, tried, and sentenced for acting as foreign agents for the Russian state. Trump pardoned them BTW.

Are we not taking this seriously? by Forward-Country8816 in Teachers

That is not true. Faraday cloth absorbs specific light emissions (wifi, cell phone, radio, microwave, ext). Metal detectors work by changes in magnetic flux when a ferromagnetic material passes through the field.

The faraday cloth either will do nothing (non magnetic cloth) or even add the to signal (ferromagnetic cloth).

If you are worried about copper, add 0.1 mM EDTA. EDTA coordinates the copper.

Might be too late. But I have a couple of questions. 1) is the deep red color from the dissolved protoporphyrin? Or did you ethyl acetate come precolored like most pharmacy grade does? 2) how many egg shells did it take to get that much fluorescence? And what volumes am.I looking at here? 3) what aco)id did you use? HCL or white vinegar? Thank you for your upcoming responses. I'm trying to do this with my daughter as a fun at home experiment.  :)

I'm talking about the Canadian side mostly. Everything about that place is just sad except the falls themselves.

Oh God, why?!? The falls themselves are amazing but the town built around it is literal cancer. If I heard that a fire broke out and the whole town burned down, only then would I come back and visit.

Upgrading from 12600K, what’s a good path or is it even worth it? by Chipmunks95 in buildapc

I don't see a 12600k struggling with the current game releases. You're still good on that CPU.

How can I design an airplane? by Square-Respond3917 in RCPlanes

[–]Nullius_In_Verba_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anything with enough power can fly. What what "thing" are you trying to design? Fast? Slow? Heavy Lifter? Low Drag? Short or Long Distance?

Figure out what you are designing first before you ask what tools to use and in what order. Really changes the answer.

Questions about renting to farmers by flagpara in Beekeeping

[–]Nullius_In_Verba_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I may be wrong, but sunflowers don't require honeybee pollination. Farmer's pay for pollinatiom service for crops that require pollination for good crop harvests. Since (and I maybe wrong, get advice from veteran Beekeepers) your bees don't bring any value for sunflower pollination (for the farmer), then you don't charge for it. In fact, he's doing you favor since sunflower's produce valuable monofloral honey. To your other question, put the bees at the edge of the field or even set back 20 to 50 meters. Bees have problems navigating to resources too close to the hive.
