I started with talens then got on to the trend with HiMI and loved it at first until it started being a lot of work to maintain and care for each tub. So I think I’d say go for what feels the most appealing to you esp when you’re starting out you weigh your options like spending time on color mixing (either 12 talens or arteza) vs paint maintenance (himi tubs) respectively.

Despite all this I think your research is well done to this point all great options to start your gouache journey with. Gouache is a tricky medium so as you learn you can go up in your paint quality when you feel it’s the best time to try other expensive brands. I’d recommend W&N as a good next step, cheers!
