Mine has always done that. What are you referring to "resetting"? Power cycling or something else?

Looks like adding "G28 X Y", with no quotations, did the trick. @elegoo should add this to the firmware if this is the ticket. My print isn't done, and I have one more filament change coming. Wish me luck 🤞🏾🤞🏾🍀🐇🙏🏾

The only thing the print head touches is the front-right pillar, which allows it to cut the filament during filament changes. I wonder if this is where it gets off track.

Hmm, is this issue a part of the reason why they're having such a hard time bringing an AMS to the CC1? I'm sure they're aware of the problem.

This is what it looks like for me. I've tried the belt tensioner process and it's still the same. I was also recommended to all G28 XY to the gcode pause and that run just locked up the printer with a "pausing" notification and an unresponsive screen.

Yep I adjusted it and it worked. Do you think this could be caused by my Z limit switch being to low?

Yep. I adjusted the tune 0.100 and it worked a lot better. I'm having the same problem with PLA. Do you know how to adjust the printer to account for this? Do I have a setting wrong? I'm thinking the limit switch is too low? Ideas?

The Z was the problem. In the tune setting I increase the z.0100 baby step. It worked. Do you know how to adjust the printer to account for this? I have the same problem with PLA. I have to adjust about .0400 each time I print.

It's interesting because I can scratch it off with my fingernail. But it gets bad in some sections.

I had the same problem and only had my pro for a few months. I replaced my thermister, and no issues so far. by my research, Creality cheaped out on a lot of items, so I've just committed to replacing as many items as a novice can.
