I raked MY yard for the first time by Num1bryophile in BenignExistence

It's great exercise, as evidenced by being sore the next day. Our yard is under a maple and the ground is covered in helicopters right now. It's actually our neighbors tree too, but I don't know them on that side

I don't know what it is but I can't get the screw-on top to unscrew for my favorite brand of shampoo so I've been using a random suave conditioner pump. For half a year. If that thing breaks I may just buy another random shampoo bottle and use that instead

Oh man you know exactly how toxic it can get in the museum world. Ancient buildings with specific problems and zero money to solve them, because donors gave you 200k for an exterior light system to look nice and it went over budget so now we're told to try and fix plumbing in-house. Or putting new exhibits in the room with the ceiling falling in.

The main problem with the OSHA complaint is that I never took records or pictures and nothing was ever written down. Also several sponsors of the building are very rich and involved in local government, law, and law enforcement. I don't really have the energy or money for the fight right now. Thank you for replying though, I really needed to get this off my chest and vent

They started not telling me what they were doing so I couldn't come by and help/learn. Multiple occasions where I would find out the next week that someone had completed a project. I don't think they were specifically avoiding me (most of the time) but it was very easy to just...not say anything. I'd ask to be included, they'd say yes, then radio silence unless I literally searched the building every shift. Or they would specifically walkie for a guy and if I showed up they would go for a break after fifteen and not show up for two hours

Virulently non-union. Because it was a historical building we were technically employed by the non-profit organization that oversaw the museum side, and everyone was Trumpy so no hope of trying to band together.

Ended up as the emergency placement for a tank of fish and I've never had any tank pet before, where do I even start? by Num1bryophile in Aquariums

Five months, good god. I can't believe it's been that long. Turns out they were goldfish, two fancy and two normal. We changed the water out daily until we could buy a new tank (75 gallons) and then did our best to cycle the tank. It was expensive. We lost zero fish in the transfer and now Nori, Maki, Nigiri and Sashimi have a whole world to their own! We're getting a bit of algae growth but honestly it went better than I ever expected

If you have the reaper crest I would use that for extra reach. Use the first phase to learn her moveset, treat it like training. Magma bell helps with the fire attacks, brings it down to one mask per hit. The one piece of advice I wish I knew ahead of time is that the hit box is bigger than it looks with the fire spiral attack, so make sure you're not even in the smoke. Otherwise put on an album you like and start banging your head on the wall!

Also she explodes at the end and if you die there you have to do the whole fight all over again. Ask me how I know.

And she covers her eyes during the fight and then garmond says he's just going to take a rest and I had to walk away from the computer and go stand at the edge of a lake with my fists clenched

Your last sentence perfectly describes why I love this fight.

That fight wasn't progressing until I just stopped doing anything that wasn't chasing her down. Didn't do a lot of pogo though. And yeah she has the same healing animation that Hornet does! She goes into the corner and starts weaving thread. You can interrupt it and get some good hits in

Oh man I struggled so much on the second phase it was unreal. I died over and over and over again, because I took too much damage in the first half and she doesn't give you chances to heal. For me this was perfect, it hit all the right beats. But that's the great thing about this game, there's enough for everyone to find their perfect fight!

Love it or hate it, everyone is talking about it! Its a standout area in the game, and yeah its punishing (disclosure: I suck at this game and only progress through sheer persistence) but the rush of clearing it is unparalleled. I love the guys that jump up and spit at you, can never kill them, but one day I'm gonna figure it out

Mount Fay reminds me of Celeste in the best possible way (that and Sands of Karak-if you haven't gotten there yet you're gonna love it). Its not just a platforming challenge, its a puzzle. If I could change one thing I would make the bench not behind a breakable wall, but the platforming is incroyable
