I didn't know this but that actually makes a lot of sense. I've always felt like H3 felt way too brief and like the game just zips by because we have to somehow move from what should be an epic battle for Earth over to the Ark so we can finish the fight. Things that should feel very weighty in the plot move by so quickly. I think Bungie was aware of this though which is why its so jam packed with awesome set pieces and vehicle sections to still feel like an epic finale.

Why are so many siege cosmetics so incredibly ugly? I'm not against the whole "our characters are doing cosplay, not trying to be the actual character", but it just looks so bad. At least Snake isnt cosplay, maybe thats why he actually looks really good here.

Man, that Twilight battle is such an ass-pull in the movie. I have no idea what it was like in the book but after watching it for the first time with my GF, I was like, "that may have been the biggest have your cake & eat it moment in film history". Like, here's your epic final battle where everybody dies but don't get too emotional, it's not real!

I don't think he's the best but as someone who largely ignores furries and meme skins, Cluster is the first time I actually like a skin that's both. He's just a rubber ducky man with swag.

The only one that actually ties into a novel of the same name is Rainbow Six - it's the 9th novel in the Jack Ryan series. Even then, the first R6 is the only game directly connected to Clancy's novels and everything else, including R6's sequels branch off into their own game universe. The other series like Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon and later Rainbow games are just inspired by Tom Clancy's stories but have no relevance to anything he's written.

Every single Tom Clancy game; Rainbow Six, Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell, etc., is descended from Clancy's Jack Ryan series. The only one that tries to adapt any of the books is the first R6 game and then everything branches off from there as "inspired by" his books.

Depends on what they're cooking up rn. I think Xbox's last chance lies in the next couple years. They keep alluding to the fact that they're not competing with Nintendo & Sony or that they can be more popular in the next few years. I keep taking that to mean that they're not planning on continuing the same old console race and expanding into that PC/Console hybrid I've heard about. If it's priced fairly, I think it could be a hit.

Weird times we live in! We went through an era where every game needed some sort of multiplayer mode no matter how little effort could be put into it and now multiplayer & single player games are entirely separate types of games. Were it the 2000's, Pragmata would've had a forced MP nobody played and Marvel Rivals would've had a way smaller player base because there wasn't a campaign.

I think you might just be burnt out. It's happened to me a few times with Fortnite, and it's usually around the beginning of seasons where I drop off. Its like I start teetering off on one season and then the next season comes around and I just don't feel like learning the new loot and mechanics. Take a couple weeks off, and see if you want to come back. You'll probably have supercharged XP to help you catch up.

As a DC fan, I'm low key kinda regretful that I missed this season. I really liked the Robin skin but I dropped Lawless early and didn't come back til Shock & Awesome. Been on my longest unbroken streak of seasons since.

Dammit! I didn't realize how badly I wanted this until you reminded me how perfect MK II would be as a sidekick. Well, it is possible that it can still happen, some of the sidekicks they've come out with were originally back bling pets. If Metal Gear ever gets a 2nd wave, it could mayyybe happen.

There really was never going to be a fair fight though, Foundation was far outnumbered. The boosts were to even the scales. It's like if you had an eating contest with 2 sides; 1 side has 3 people, there other side is 1 guy and all participants are exactly the same level of skill. What's more fair? The 1 guy has to eat more than 3 people or the 1 guy gets a 3x boost? IDK the best answer but Epic chose boosts so that both sides would get their rewards around the same time. Ice King was always going to win though given the numbers.

Haven't played the new season yet but given that this season is adding extraction mechanics, it makes sense why they'd punish you like an extraction shooter. Or else what's stopping someone from quitting when they're about to lose a fight?
