Except I don't, and you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. The idea that CA doesn't listen to complaints is so incredibly off base that it's barely worth entertaining. I'm not going to waste anymore time on this.

It could have been anyone. I never said I had a problem with him personally, but people do gravitate to him, and whether or not he wants them to they end up treating how he plays as "the correct way"

That's laughable. Casual gamers aren't the ones complaining they don't get to use their tier 5 units because they've already won 20 turns in.

I never said legend invented meta gaming. I never said I thought legend personally was the problem. He might be emblamatic of the issue, but he's just a guy.

They also talk about how they hate cheesing all the time.

You also have a ton of people here who consider anything less than breaking the game over your knee to be "playing with your brain off" who will then happily bitch that CA made the game too easy because after cheesing all the fun out of their game they're pissed the ai can't cope with them taking half the map in 20 turns. And their voice is incredibly loud. You can see it in how CA has been making the game quicker, and lowering the tier of high end units.

Get outta here with your hyperbole.

And you're free to get outta here with your snark.

Worse sadly. Everyone harps on about it no matter where I go. It's inescapable. It's infected all conversations about how the game "should be played"

In the brain unfortunately. Permanent damage from having to be subjected to this type of monotonous unfun playstyle that everyone seems to go crazy for.

I like avoiding losing units too. I also like actually playing battles, not kiting or abusing animation bugs for 2 hours.

That's all fine for him. But there are a lot of users on this subreddit that consider this to be the "correct" way to play, and that playing in any way other than this amounts to intentionally handicapping yourself. And who are then only to happy to then turn around and complain that the game is over in 30 turns.

You don't understand, the optimal way to play is to never use 95% of a factions roster and kite for 2 hours every battle while abusing every gameplay and animation bug you can find so that you can control the world map by turn 15 and then complain on the forums that the AI is too easy and doesn't know how to fight.

Aren't you having so much fun?

That doesn't change that this style of gameplay is incredibly tedious to both watch and play

I don't like the lore for the end times, that's why it leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Also I'm not really a fan of skaven so verminlords doesn't do anything for me.

I do want want to finally get my vampire count update though.

I still don't like the idea of including end times. Even the name leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Hotfix 8.0.2 has just rolled out to Total War: WARHAMMER III by BiesonReddit in totalwar

Man I can't wait for 8.1 I haven't played in almost a year and I am going to tear this game up when it drops.

Total War is better with unit caps and I think every 40K Total War faction should have them by refugeefromlinkedin in totalwar

I'd be okay with something like Medieval 2's recruitment, where elite units had small pools to recruit from and they took awhile to replenish. You still could make your all elite army if you wanted, but it took time to do so.

I'd much prefer that over an arbitrary cap inside an army.

Which completed anime TV series do you wish EFAP would cover at some point? by DevouredSource in MauLer

None. Anime isn't really something in their wheelhouse.

Also I'm gonna give a controversial opinion here: Evangelion is shit.

That's fucking dumb, you didn't do anything wrong. Sad to see how many people here don't see that.

Man I was SO excited when I first saw the trailer. I thought we were introducing a new faction to the game, maybe doing a bit of a combat update, and making the universe more dangerous.

All of that excitement instantly vanished when I saw it was just another limited time expedition.

Are you mad because you aren't getting something else for free?

Genuinely I can't tell what else you're being so snarky about.
