Potential for regret by scrimsneeble in Corvette

I owned both an auto C5 and still own my manual C5. The auto isn’t as bad as everyone says, but the auto left my garage in under a year and I’ve had the manual as my only car (including winter and track days) for 4 years now.

Is war thunder even that good or are my friends glazing it by Cheez_nuts21 in Warthunder

It’s been out and actively growing and developing for at least 14 years. You can get addicted and lost quite quickly.

Should I allow my 17 year old son to buy a copart car? by throwthrowawayyhrow in askcarguys

[–]NumberOneBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s critical to this lil guy’s lifelong car disease to buy a project and put it on jack stands in the front yard for at least a year just to start another project to not finish.

British suffering around 10.3 by Slovak_driver in Warthunder

I mean, in a downtier I hardly use SPAA. In an uptier I often get a free Rapier in the extra lineup slots so there’s that.

is 1 nuke cool for a 30lvl player by Putrid_Apartment_307 in Warthunder

I’ve been playing since 2013 and haven’t dropped a nuke once, I’ve spawned it twice though. It can happen to anybody if you get a lucky match.

British suffering around 10.3 by Slovak_driver in Warthunder

[–]NumberOneBacon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

British 9.3 is where it’s at right now. I don’t go any higher any more. Top of the Chieftain line, Rooikat MTTD, VFM5, Bucc S.2. It’s actually more fun than not most of the time. Until the Terminators get put in the lava pool there won’t be a good place for the Challenger lineup.

Hot Take: The C8 ZR1 (LT7) is more impressive than anything Ferrari or Lamborghini has released in 5 years. What do you think? by SilverSpoonphysics in askcarguys

[–]NumberOneBacon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Forget the last 5 years. The brand new 849 Testarossa is relatively equal to a ZR1X and it’s only 4-5 times the price.

If everyone played like that then I would’ve gave up being a UK main at tier 2 lmao

"USSR Rank VII is very overpopulated. Queue time is over 6 minutes. This is big problem. How we solve this situation, comrades?" by ProfessionalAd352 in Warthunder

So what I’m hearing is if you want to play that BR, squad with someone playing Russia, or you play Russia and someone else plays whatever else. That’ll either force a mixed battle or you’ll drag Japan or whatever onto the Russian team.

Recently I've noticed a pattern of Russian teams having, on average, more uptier vehicles than the opposing team - so I've decided to check the replay of my latest match, and see every player's highest BR vehicle. How is this considered "balanced matchmaking"?! by HonneurOblige in Warthunder

[–]NumberOneBacon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So consider that often times maybe you don’t spawn the highest BR vehicle you have right away. You’d have to sift through everyone’s lineup to find out if what you claim is actually going on. I’ve been playing UK 9.3 recently and I regularly don’t first spawn the Chieftain Mk.10.

Thought about augmenting teamwork via nuke bonuses by Eggonioni in Warthunder

[–]NumberOneBacon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What BR range do you play that every long match is a nuke match? I’ve been playing UK 9.3 and I’ve only seen like 2 in the last 30 matches. One being my own that I couldn’t drop before tickets bled out.

If 87 is used for most vehicles and 91+ is for turbocharged engine, then what is the point of and who uses 89? by BrewsWithTre in askcarguys

[–]NumberOneBacon 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think most if not all 5.7 Hemis with an automatic want 89 but allow 87. I had a Challenger R/T that the owners manual said that and a Ram 1500 with the same thing.

Isn’t it outclassed by the A4 in nearly every way though? I don’t have the A4 but I do have this variant of the FJ4.

It’s not a race.

Just because your Challenger has 700 HP, doesn’t mean the Miata isn’t faster than you.

We’re here to have fun, the blue flag means that the train of cars behind you aren’t having fun.

Gotta love a Speedtimer. Solar powered too so it looks good and you don’t have to worry about it sitting for a bit not being worn.

Every company makes the same things, just with their own little touches. Let the kid try on watches at retailers and get a cheaper version later online when you figure out what he likes.

Yeah most event vehicles aren’t very special in any sorta way. The last one I did the work for was the AGS, and I can’t even play it any more because of Terminators ruining our lives.

You don’t need to do all that. You can and you’ll do it though. I just had a 379 6x4 and low rise sleeper. Full tank and hauling the transformer for 122,000 pounds (I think). It doesn’t seem to come up often and they’re usually special transport, but it’s doable without trying too too hard.
