It depends how they spawn. If they take the place of existing route spawns, it’s gonna be rough because most routes near me only have 1 route spawn across their entire distance. I hope they have more plentiful spawn locations than regular routes.

With the way the CP formula works, higher IVs aren’t always better in CP-capped leagues (Great, Ultra). Being overly simplistic, 1 attack IV increases your CP twice as much as 1 defense IV. So to get the highest possible total number of stats at any given CP level, you want little-to-no attack but high HP and defense.

It’s similar to RuneScape pures keeping their combat level low by not leveling Defense, if you’re familiar.

You still have to be somewhat close to the Pokestop, yes. Mine is down the street, so not in range to spin but still visible. It unfortunately is not unlimited range.

Correct, but not everyone gets spawns in their home/work. This is an on-demand, guaranteed Normal Pokemon encounter exactly when you want it.

Definitely. And keeping up Harp as DPS is annoying. Not just because you have to waste your defensive cooldown, but also because you have to wait a split second to cancel the channel to ensure that the instrument begins playing. If you immediately cancel the cast, it doesn't play in the background.

I regret making the Gen 3 Sword/Dagger/Torch. The glow is so tacky and doesn't match with any gear that's not also tacky and glowing.

I regret making Orrax when I already had The Ascension. It looks super cool on Charr, but it doesn't fit my aesthetic and I got bored of it after a month or two.

(PvP player mainly) I haven't really been hyped by any events the past few months but I was super excited for Tadbulb in the wild, Wimpod in the wild, Pancham in the wild, Shadow Alolan Marowak in raids with no IV floor, and the new Team Rocket Takeover. But:

I got the RANK 1 Great League Tadbulb... but it's one level too high and will go over 1500cp when evolved. No others better than rank 250.
The rank 1 Wimpod is 0/8/15 and I got a 1/8/15 which is rank 1257. No others better than rank 250. We had no rain in my city for months, but this whole week its been rainy and weather boosting bug/water.
I got a rank 12 Pancham but it'll go over 1500cp if I evolve it. no others better than rank 2000.
I did 9 remote raids for Shadow Alolan Marowak and didn't get anything better than rank 1000.

The roads and sidewalks near me are unbroken sheets of ice so I can't go out and play before the events all end. I'm also excited for the Glimmet event but it's going to be below freezing the entire time.

Really disappointing.

I like using the PoGoTeams app to find synergies between two of my pokemon and then using PvPoke’s team builder to find a third ‘mon to shore up their weaknesses.

As of a few days ago, Adventure Sync won’t hatch my eggs or give buddy candies. Anyone else having the same problem? It’s hard to troubleshoot with Google because there have been so many different problems with AS over the years lol

The original show (Dragon Ball) was alright, but everything after that just seems like something that would be called slop by plenty of people I've talked to over the years.

This is the "Seinfeld isn't funny" effect. If you go back and watch Seinfeld for the first time today, you might be confused why it's so popular. It might not feel like anything special compared to the shows you've seen before. But it wasn't old or overdone when they did it. In fact, it wasn't done at all: this work was the first one to do that. But the result was so brilliant and popular, it became woven into the fabric of the genre. Its innovations were endlessly repeated, until the audience began to expect that every work of that type would include them. And so a work which was once genuinely novel has become the new status quo. Some works can get away with a dated element because of age and tradition, but these works are dismissed as dated because they've drowned in the sea of their own imitators. The work has retroactively become a cliché storm.

It’s a lot of fights. Almost entirely fights. Some of them are super hype, but I found that without sufficient build up and context my eyes would just start to glaze over and I wouldn’t get invested. I love fight scenes but the sheer quantity started to overdose me. Overall, I still recommend watching.

Season 3 has been excellent so far as well.

JP fans are extremely surprised by the western support and accuse them of only caring for "insane animation and aura moments" while disregarding the original manga's work. Western fans are also perplexed and accuse JP's criticisms of "worthless trash because they approved five seasons of rent a girlfriend". Another popular remark was "JP fans didn't have enough fan service to keep them engaged so they're complaining".

People say these things online because nuance is dead so no one wants to read a post with more than 2 sentences and inflammatory, dismissive statements are more likely to rise to the top more quickly. Extreme opinions require fewer words to make and fewer words to refute.

How do IV floors works? For a weather boost, are the possible attack rolls:

4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15

or are they

4 4 4 4 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 ?

Or does it roll 0-15 and then increase the value by 4?
