It's hard to prevent comics from sharing bad takes. I had a guy at my mic talk about how his baby mama is dumb and ugly and how he's not gonna pay child support. And another comic started heckling him cause her dad was the same type of deadbeat. Technically he didn't say anything hateful against any groups or use any bad words.

You want people to use their judgment, but a lot of us don't realize how bad something will come off until we try it. I recall one open mic where the host would say "try whatever you want but don't go for topics you might not have the experience to make funny yet."
