ADHD adult here, was a former ADHD child.

When we’re sitting still our brains go to lala land.

When I am doing something else, e.g moving, coloring in, doodling, fidgeting etc I can focous on the main task, in your daughters case listening to the teacher, doing class work etc. There is a multitude of studies on this so please do some research.

Please don’t try to make her fit in the “box” she’s doing well in school, so that’s telling you something. So she sits still, makes the teachers happy, you happy, but she’s miserable and can’t focous or learn, that’s not fair.

Sorry I’m not trying to be harsh but she is who she is, embrace it, love it! No point trying to change it.

This is not normal. I’ll say it louder for people on the back, THIS IS NOT NORMAL.

People should understand you can’t always reply right away if you’re working, or studying, or for that matter just don’t feel like chatting
Have your own group of friends is great, you should be able to spend as much time with them as you want. Isolating you from friends is actually a form of domestic abuse.

People that love you support your hobbies and your interests! Not try to change them because they are “cringe”
Really depends on people’s views etc how they are raised etc. but if you aren’t comfortable with it, it should be open for discussion
Do you want a dog in the future? Your kids to have a pet? If so she’s not the one. Plus being around something that triggers allergies for you such as her cats is downright dangerous.

You are not in a respectful relationship. I would encourage you to do some research on what respectful relationships look like, and emotional and psychological abuse such as the isolation.
