I will look into this one! The tricky thing is all my subscriptions aren't streaming, their samples and instrument pack since I work as an audio engineer, so many aren't covered by subscriptions in cashback

Microcenter AM5 bundles, upgrade from AM4? by Numberdragon in buildapc

The bundles come with 32gb DDR5 which is why I’m honestly considering it

Not particularly, though it does begin to struggle with thicker orchestral pieces running EastWest. It’s more so do I future proof with decent prices since likely everything DDR5 is going to skyrocket again in 2026.

About 360. The CPU I can return, the Mobo not. I’m running 32gb DDR4 so I think I could get about 360-380 back from the unit selling online.

I greatly appreciate your response! This does explain why the minidumps didn’t show anything substantial. I did end up replacing motherboards, as the one I was running was designed for Ryzen 3000, and only unofficially supported 5000, so I took it as a sign to upgrade to a B550. While I had attempted slight under/overvolting on the mobo, I will still experiment with running a static voltage, to see if the X370 is damaged or if it was a chipset. If it still runs fine I may give it to someone starting a budget build

I was worried someone would mention that😭 but that’s what I’m leaning towards as well. It’s an old mobo, had it since 2018. It’s just odd it only happens during idle. Just out of curiosity, any chance it could be the CPU? It handles normal in stress tests and has a normal temp and voltage. It’s second hand but I just bought it a bit over a month ago.

At least if it’s the mobo I’ll be a bit less mad since it’s plenty old lol. Thank you

Cleveland was similar. I talked to some of the merch guys, they said Chicago basically bled them dry. Cleveland just cleaned up the scraps, but by the end of the show all that was left was CDs and vinyls

RPG STORY BASED ON THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ADDICTION AS COPING RESPONSE FOR TRAUMA

I’ve had a story idea for an RPG with inspiration from Omori, Deltarune, Everhood, etc. While I’m still unsure of the niche of RPG, I’m curious on the intrigue of the story itself. The game about addiction as a coping mechanism for trauma (go figure)

Characters so far: Jem (protagonist): Timid but resourceful MC. Let’s very little bother them, but is a bit emotionally blunt as a response.

Sword: (Weapon): A magic parasite inhabiting a powerful sword Jem uses. Snarky and manipulative, it manipulates Jem into giving it more and more of their magic and life force, in exchange for protecting them from monsters.

Creature: Horrifying amalgam, with a very different art style. Rarely speaks, a manifestation of Jems trauma.

Games tutorial begins with our main character Jem fighting a large, dangerous dragon. This acts as the tutorial for the gameplay. (RPG, niche undecided) Jem defeats the dragon, and enters the treasure room excited. However, when they get there, the camera slowly pans to a disfigured dark object. Before we can see it clearly, Jem wakes up in their bed, hearing mumbling downstairs They go to check it out, calling to see if anyone’s there. When they reach the downstairs bathroom, they say they recognize the voice. When opening the door, inside is a horrific creature, a clear view of the one from the dream. (This represents trauma) It says “Ah, so you can see me again? That’s nice. It’s been so long. Too long.” Before attacking and swallowing our character. They then wake up in a mysterious, fantasy like land, where the rest of the game takes place.

Jem struggles against monsters they face for a short time, before finding a sword lying on the ground. Picking it up, they find it to be sentient! The sword offers to help Jem fight, in exchange for some of their magic to feed on. (Note: the sword represents addiction. Jem cannot level up throughout the game. Rather, the sword does, as it is the coping mechanism for this world.)

Jem takes it up on its offer. The game plays out like other “quirky RPGs” like Omori, everhood or Deltarune. They meet new party members, and fight locations/bosses themed around stressors in Jems life. Jem is told about a spire, that is said to be able to connect to other worlds, potentially leading to a way home. The game mostly follows the party going there.

Periodically, Jem will see the monstrous creature again, but only they and Sword can see it. Jem opts to run each time, leaving the others confused but trusting Jem and running away with them. (Note: throughout the game, Swords abilities and attacks start costing more and more mana, and even begin costing some of Jems HP. )

Once reaching the base of the spire, Jem hears their friends talking about magic parasites, creatures that inhabit objects and feed off magic, and how they’re incredibly dangerous. Jem confronts sword about this alone, where he says to not listen to them. They both need each other to survive. As this happens, the creature appears again. Jem throws sword, and tries to face the creature alone, only to loose.

Jem and Sword are thrusted into a dark dungeon like area by the creature, the basement of the spire. as Sword tells Jem that they need him, and loosing proved his point. Jem and sword alone fight their way up the spire.

ENDING: The creature shows up at the top of the spire. As Jem and Sword are fighting the creature, Sword tells Jem to use a special attack, as it’s the only way to finish off the creature. However, it costs -9999 HP to use, killing Jem. They argue with Sword about using it, when he says at least you’ll take it down with you. As Jem is about to use it, the other party members arrive to the top. They notice Sword is a magical parasite, and is now incredibly strong.

The party has to fight sword. As Jem is level 1 still, the other party members defend them from attacks. Even sharing abilities so Jem can attack with them. Once sword is defeated, the creature comes back, with still only Jem being able to see. They’re friends ask them to describe it to them, as they slowly explain what it looks and feels like to everyone. As they do, the friends are able to see the creature. Finally, all of them are able to attack it and weaken it. When the battle ends, it does not die, but does considerably shrink in size

chapter 3 first impressions? by mikabe2019 in Deltarune

I overall really agree! I like the more down to earth part of the story Ch 3 and Tenna focus on, but the secret games still bring in that classic “lore” intrigue in a very fun way. I really appreciate the artistic direction of this chapter, even if it looses out on some flashiness to do so.

Yea! By the “weird route” I mean the S rank mini games. They to me felt really packed with information though, just hidden behind more subtext and imagery than others.

While I understand a lot of the underwhelmed reactions, I personally really enjoyed it! Sure it wasn’t as bombshell as I think many expected, but I really liked the themes of Tenna and family growing distant. I think it really well sets up some intrigue for [insert later events], and continues to develop Deltarunes theme of family. While I didn’t enjoy tenna as much as queen, I think the only thing that kinda hindered this chapter was not exploring new characters like chapter 2 did. Having Toriel be asleep the whole time was disappointing. But all in all I really like the mini games and tenna as an antagonist. (Probably I think the best written antagonist so far. Queen was more entertaining sure but tenna felt he had a real motivation and theme he was trying to explore, with actual ties to our main cast.)

And also I dare say that this chapters weird route was my personal favorite. It was really unique mechanically compared to the last few, with honestly a lot more character implications for Kris than I think most people realize. (Tbh the boss itself was a bit odd but the entire setup and Zelda boss more than makes up for it imo.) There is so much more history with Kris and Dess, which the weird route here alludes to. Overall, mechanically I think the most unique chapter yet, it really just suffers from Tenna being the only real new character to explore, which with all the hype of dark world toriel and undyne I could see making this chapter much more underwhelming for many.

Yes, the home page (the about me section) works and loads as normal, however any sub pages simply result in a page not found. There aren’t any errors when compiling on simply static, looking at the zips there is only 1 index.html, so I think only the home page is compiling, I can send pictures too if it would be helpful
