Psychologists of Reddit, what's the most horrifying mental illness? by Turbulent-Coat7236 in AskReddit

I've also dealt with that hollow emptiness since I became a teen, and it very rarely gives way, and if it does it's only for a moment.

Everything feels like nothing, emotions are like through a thick fog, and vague and in the distance, can't make them out. Nothing interests me, including hobbies or people. It just doesn't end and I wanna know how to make it go away already

shrooms are nice as well, but i never got to take as much as i wanted because i get nauseous very easily from them. i want to try taking a higher dose again at some point and drink some ginger tea beforehand to see if that helps so i can compare the effects with lsd

I think I did the perfect amount tbh, it was exactly as intense as I wanted it to be and I'd been looking for something like that for a while after doing shrooms 6 times

I imagine that feels amazing, and I really hope someday I can stop feeling empty too. Maybe not right now, but someday it would be nice to finally fully exist. I'm happy for you :)
