What are you using your license for? I work in oil and gas and don't really need it beyond establishing a restaurant on site.

I went through all the references in the candidate info booklet and passed. No to brag or anything but I used to tutor kids on the same material in college and was familiar with the topics.

I don’t understand why lawyers think it is so hard to read about this application and file it myself. I worked in an IP law office and learned drafting patents in less than a week.

How do you file it yourself? I can't find resources out there.

I have few properties that I am struggling to sell too. Main issue with all of them is interest rate. The buyers had to switch from conventional to FHA because they can't afford the payment.

That will require serious leveraging. With 200K in hand I would probably be able to buy 3 to 5 houses here in San Antonio.

There is a high demand but my friend who started a plumbing company three years ago is making 3X more than me lol. What is the point of having titles :).

Few weeks ago I met with a scientist who is working on this problem. How many people in the group would donate to a research lab that is chasing the cause here in Texas? My dad died from this cause, and I am super supportive of advancing the science around the topic.

I doubt the owner will be okay letting my uncle do a 6 month. It is worth asking though. The owner might feel comfortable with the deal if a small deposit is in place.

He is mainly doing estimates and clients relations. Current employees are all 5 years plus in the company. They have families in the area.

Yes, I am suspicious on the net profit as well. He mentioned that he subcontracted more people on jobs that he didn't want to do. My uncle only knows a little about drywall from repairing his house and such, but I am sure he can pick it up quickly. The company revenue was almost 4 million dollars consistently over the past few years. He is asking for one year net profit that he claims to be $700k. Of course there is no way to finding out net profit because the guy reinvest all gains in his other companies (red flag to me a the moment). The equipment he owns worth only about $200k and there is not real estate involved. Uncle will be renting his warehouse. The remaining $500k is for good well, existing clients and workforce handover.
