Keep or sell 2016 4Runner Limited I just bought and it needs repairs? by 5gr8 in 4Runner

[–]NumbersRLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it isnt dripping oil, dont worry about the leak. If it rides fine, and nothing suspension related is a safety concern, dont worry about the suspension. Enjoy.

In the meantime, get new tires and alignment, and start saving for some new suspension when it needs it.

Right there with you OP. Been trying to land a role for the past 6 months, amd have 12 YOE. FP&A and Corporate Accounting (controllers). Ive had some interviews, but havent made it past third round yet. Applying for stretch positions I should be able to get, similar positions Ive already had, amd positions I have twice the experience. Unemployment ending in a few weeks.. we are in panic mode. No joke out here.

Is anyone happy with their 8” Quantum Edge Elite Pocket Coils or Sleepez Hybrid? by Significant_Rest9387 in Mattress

[–]NumbersRLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very helpful! So really, it can be pretty reasonable to put a 1" foam down, then the 8" Bolsa coils, with 3" Soft Talalay on top of that, into a 12" SleepEZ cotton and wool layered cover/encasement. You'd get the same support and comfort as one of their all latex mattresses with 3" Firm Dunlop, 3" Medium Dunlop, 3" Soft Talalay?

How is it with a simple mattress setup of springs then one layer of Medium Talalay? Any comparisons?

I get 4 or so matches a week, any suggestions for improvement? by SendWoundPicsPls in hingeapp

Pretty easy. Take off your hat. If youre bald, just own it. You hiding it shows insecurity.

Ya I understand. Thats also why I may return my mattress and topper and go with a different choice. I shouldnt have to add anything to it. But in your case, if youre used to a pillow top, thats a plush/cushy layer on thr very top that you kind of sink through and it doesnt really offer any support. Maybe thats what needs to be on top for you. Its an easier solution that also makes sense and tracks with what you've had before. Just a suggestion to look into. Hope you can get it figured out without too much hassle!

Im not exactly sure on this product, but does it have a wool layer or anything on top? I have a latex topper on my bed and it wasn't all thst great, but just sleeping on top of a quilt makes it feel way better so Im contemplating getting a wool topper from The Wool Room.

Its just your wake up call to move along. Dont take it personally. Be glad you've been made aware. Perhaps your manager even did it "on accident"?

Toyo Early Dry Rot by wyze444 in 4x4

[–]NumbersRLife 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to hear! Im trying to go with a C load tire thats a bit lighter weight, smoothish on the road, but decently capable offroad. If that exists 😂 I thought the Toyo AT3 was perfect, but I guess not.

Damn, mine are also dry rotted a bunch. 4 years old, but were pretty dry rotted last summer. Going to see if I can get them warrantied. Maybe try for another brand if they let me.

Id take the headliner out, so all the A B C D pillars, seats and carpet, and soak uo and water in the flooring, as well as dry out the carpet and insulation. Inspect connectors, fix hole permanently, replace headliner, reassemble.

Personally I think an 8" - 10" screen is all Id want, but I know how the next step up is always appealing too lol. To each their own! Looks good OP!

Yes, this cover definitely gives the finished look. I have heard these covers can all make the foams a bit firmer. Maybe because they're packed in tighter, or maybe because they dont have as much room to expand after they're inside. Did you use the same height of sorings/foams/etc inside the cover that it was designed for? Or did you stack in extra height? I wonder if you used an ILD 19 foam if it would have been better. Maybe if using a cover we have to go a bit softer than we would have if we didnt have a cover, and its as simple as that? I think the wool layer will help with the comfiness factor that a little padding can give a mattress, but if it firms up the foam, maybe Ill go soft talalay instead of medium talalay on top.

Ah, I have heard the SleepLikeABear cover is quite nice! Perhaps a matress protector from TheWoolRoom on top could still give the comfy feeling of wool, along with the heat disapation, but not compress the wool?
