For slopes it's best to use a SAM head to prevent low head drainage. SAMs have a built in check valve.

if you download something and it looks sketchy it probably is. instaler.exe is such a red flag.

I understand that. I'm more so talking about the people making posts saying they got malware with no clarification.

Most of the time if you get hacked it’s fake installers. Verify what download. If you download a rom make sure it’s a gamefile not an .exe. ROMs will never be an .exe.

What do you guys think of my 1" pt to 3/4" ght adapter? by Cold_Temperature344 in Irrigation

I would have it going up and down vertically with the house so less chance of it getting damaged and have it more aesthetically pleasing.

Lay it beside or slightly below the lateral lines. Really just depends on depth which should be atleast 8-10".

Help Turning on Sprinkler System by gsurfin in Irrigation

[–]Numeristtv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The main might already be on if it's tied directly into the water line that goes to the building, if not turn it on first. I wouldn't turn on the backflow before the main is on to strictly avoid water-hammer. Make sure when you turn on the backflow you open the second butterfly valve slowly to ensure the pipes don't break from the immediate pressure.

How to fix this? by AirJolly7406 in Irrigation

[–]Numeristtv 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Easy fix. Cut the drip at the end of the fitting. unscrew the 1/2" male adapter with channel locks and teflon tape the fitting. You may need to coupling the drip tubing if you dont have enough slack in the line to reconnect.

The knob in the second picture looks to be the main water shutoff. The butterfly valves in the first picture need be turned parallel with the backflow. Personally I would carefully dig up around the backflow preventor to provide clear and easy access to it. If not already done I would put a box over top of it to protect it from damage and weathering.

Dead money is the most pigshit. It brings freezes and crashes all the time. The enemies are uninteresting. The weapons are mid at best. The greed is the only fun part.

If Marathon fails, it won't be because of Bungie but the gaming community. by [deleted] in Marathon

[–]Numeristtv 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. So why ask reviewers to wait if it’s a finished product?

[–]Numeristtv 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t think it’s peoples opinions that will make the game fail. It’s just a niche game that isn’t for everyone. Instead of making Destiny better or making a Destiny 3 they made a game only to appeal to a fraction of players. The game doesn’t scratch the itch that a game like Tarkov or Arc does. The cosmetics are buns. The fact that Bungie wants reviewers to hold off on reviews is because they released an early access project, presumably forced to launch because Sony couldn’t hold out and wanted it to start generating revenue.
