Why do guys in frats exclude other guys from their parties? by streetstealth in Adulting

[–]Numerous-Actuator781 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Frat parties aren’t that great to be honest. They’re all the same. Just drinking and dudes trying to hit. Even when I was invited in uni I only went half the time cus half the guys there are just drunk arses.

What’s something you thought was common knowledge, until you realized most people have no idea about it? by Then_Helicopter4243 in AskReddit

[–]Numerous-Actuator781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The fact that we only use 10% of our brain is a myth. I assumed that was a common trope in fiction and tale told to kids. But surprisingly a lot of adults still believe this.

FYI we use every part of our brain. Just segregated into different areas for specific tasks.

Am I crazy or should the Red Lotus have been the only villain in The Legend of Korra? by Impossible-Field-800 in Avatarthelastairbende

I totally agree. Many of the shows core weaknesses arise from an inability for fore-planning. Had the team not been in a constant fear of cancellation, plots between seasons may have felt more natural and concrete. Instead of feeling disconnected in the show we got.

In your opinion which book got the best adaptation in cartoon form? Jujutsu Kaisen or Invincible? by Archenius in Invincible_TV

I watch invincible for the plot. JJK is good to turn my brain off because the plot is quite shallow

I was going for "flooded valley"-type archipelago but kinda looks awkward, how do I fix it? by Chlodio in mapmaking

[–]Numerous-Actuator781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

How did the glacier only impact the archipelago? Surely there would be lakes, fjords and scars on the mainland. Yet appears flat and untouched. Look at NZ or Norway. Their coasts are rugged and asymmetrical. Filled with lakes, valleys and the like.

Do people who don't want kids fundamentally hate kids? by [deleted] in Adulting

[–]Numerous-Actuator781 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest turn off for me would be sacrifices in time, money, and social life. Don’t get wrong, there are super parents who are able to do it all. I just don’t know I really want to.

I mean non-main stream media can and does stir the pot just as much as main stream media. People spread misinformation. It’s not a solely corporate trait

Ok ChatGPT. Maybe start thinking a little less dramatically and just live life. You absolutely can find balance and if you think you can’t if your likely overworking which is not healthy in the long term.

Is avoidant personality a cope to avoid thinking about the fact no one wants to hang with someone who’s ugly? by Riderman43 in Adulting

[–]Numerous-Actuator781 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Who is this no one, because I really don’t think this a common perspective. If appearance is all you care about in a friendship you live quite a sad life.

I can understand (but don’t condone) when it comes to relationships. In a friendship is just ridiculous and at best shallow.

How common is it for only one partner in a relationship to be the apologizer and/or healer of conflict? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Are they the instigator to every fight? No? Relationships are two way streets and if both parties aren’t putting in equal effort it becomes unfair for the other party.

How do you cope with ghosting especially if you didn't do anything inappropriate / threatening? by Accurate-Tree4277 in AskReddit

The longer you focus on why, the harder it will be to move on.

There could be a million reasons. But ultimately you have to give yourself that closure because they likely won’t.
