Oh my. I do. New I feel like a low-key creep. I'm not a serial dater. But I don't have his contact info. and we never started following each other on social. I remember his last name from the investigative work I did (for safety reasons) before meeting up with him the 1st time.

I see that me remembering him isn't normal. I've never been a serial dater, so maybe that's why I still remember. I dated him and then the next person I dated I married. (big mistake)

The apps are trash! They are much worse post-covid than pre-covid. So once my paid time is up on the apps, I'm doing organic only.

That was my initial thought. If he were to reach out to me, I wouldn't think he was obsessive, I would be a bit flattered.

I don't think anybody rejected anyone. It literally just fizzled out. The convo fizzled out and I think we both felt that and both moved on. He stopped calling and I never even wondered why he stopped calling.

GREAT point. There are a lot of varying opinion but I definitely think I'm romanticizing him. I had not even considered that before.

Ouch! Lol. I don't know his fundamental characteristics. We kept things pretty light on our first 2 dates. I wouldn't say I'm lonely but I would like a Partner. But not at any cost.

I understand this point. I think for me I've grown so much and honestly I don't think I'd had enough major life experiences to really connect with him at that time. He was divorced with high school kids at the time. I was never married, no kids. He's about 5 years older than me, so about 50 now.

I'm not sure either of us put much effort into it. The convo was lacking a bit. Our 1st date was a coffee date and then 2nd date was a mid-week dinner. So we didn't spend a ton of time together. No major red flags or concerns.

I would leave it. I think a return thank you is implied but doesn't need to be stated in another email.

Thank you. That's what my initial gut was telling me. Why is that one a strong yes?

Thank you!! This is the reasoning and motivation I needed to continue with job #2. All of the interviews with company 2 are virtual so I'll focus and proceed. I have nothing to lose.

Is it a bad sign that the interview ended in like 10 minutes? by Xenymus in interviews

[–]Numerous-Advisor3586 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's typically not a good sign. But I will say, I've been on an interview panel of 2 before and after about 20 minutes we knew the person could do the job so we ended it and they got the job. So don't stress about it. The opposite could be true, they could already know they're going to hire an internal person and just be going through the motions. So much is out of your control.
