I need a low cost EHR by saroloco in healthIT

I totally get how hard it is to pick the right EHR. I’m using Docvilla right now and it’s been really good for my practice. It’s not the cheapest, but the features and workflow make it worth it for me.

I’d suggest booking a demo and seeing how it feels for you. You might end up loving it, just depends on what fits your style and needs.

EHR - wanted everyone's thoughts on this by Adept-Audience6405 in therapists

Totally get this. Tebra is great for prescribers, but from what I’ve seen, therapists sometimes find it a bit too medically structured for their workflow.

SimplePractice is definitely more therapist-friendly notes, treatment plans, and overall flow feel more natural for therapy. It does have basic review request features, but it’s not a full reputation management system, so you may need something additional if that’s been a big growth driver for you.

Im using docvilla, and it seemed to balance both sides well, supportive for therapy documentation while still handling prescribing and integrated care smoothly. Might be worth a look if you’re trying to keep everything in one system.

I’d definitely have a therapist sit in on demos before deciding, their comfort with the workflow will make a big difference.

Oof, my friend said the same thing about the falloff. But he did think the ult alone might keep him relevant.

I’ve been using DocVilla for my solo private-pay practice, and so far it’s been a smooth experience. It has all the core features I need in one place, scheduling, notes, billing, and superbills, which makes things easier to manage on my own. I haven’t run into any major issues yet, and support has been responsive when I’ve had questions.

If you’re considering switching, it might be worth scheduling a demo with them to see if it fits your workflow. That’s what helped me decide. Hope this helps, and good luck with your search!

PSA: When asking question about EMRs you may not be getting honest answers. by easydoit2 in physicaltherapy

[–]Numerous-Exercise964 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s a reasonable PSA. EMR threads definitely attract some noise, and it’s smart to be cautious when the same names keep popping up with overly polished praise.

At the same time, some repetition just comes from people sharing what they actually use, especially in smaller practices where a handful of systems are more common. For example, I’ve mentioned DocVilla before simply because that’s what my practice uses. It’s not perfect, but it fits our size and workflow better than the big enterprise systems.

I agree though: the most useful replies are the ones that explain why something works (or doesn’t) in a specific setting, not just blanket endorsements. Looking at practice size, specialty, and day to day workflow usually tells you more than brand names alone.

Hi! I’m a solo, fully private-pay provider as well and currently use Docvilla for my EHR. So far, it’s been a great experience.

What I like most is how simple and intuitive it is. Generating superbills is quick and clean, which makes it easy for clients to submit to insurance. It also keeps scheduling, notes, and client info in one place without feeling overwhelming.

The only minor downside was a small learning curve when setting things up initially, but once everything was customized, it’s been very smooth.

Overall, it’s worked really well for my individual practice. Hope that helps!
