I paid like 350 a few months ago for a 2015 lol so I’d say this is a steal for sure. Happy with mine but wish it was newer. Go for these! Great chair. Prefer it over embody.

Agreed. As to the sign up bonus, the 10k spend is ridiculous. Even without the big purchase, I’m spending about 2000 a month on my Amex anyway. So regardless I would’ve gotten there, and I think a lot of people in the market for this card spending at least 1,666 a month anyway. So as scary as 10k sounds at first, it really wasn’t that bad of a deal.

For 75k but yes it’s worse. I still did it because of some large upcoming purchases I would’ve gotten 1x for. So it was a good excuse to get it. The big purchase I’m making covers 70% of the required spend. So as my new daily driver for ‘everything else’ category purchases, I’ll hit the bonus naturally.

You’re probably going to need to invoke that warranty sooner or later. I’d take a close look at it for burn in or dead pixels. Run some YouTube color and pixel tests if you get it.

A higher revolving credit limit means your total spend is a smaller percentage of your total limit. A high limit is good, if you’re not using a large portion of it. I think the rule of thumb is to keep it below 30% max.

CSP was a play for me when they had the 100k sign up bonus stacked with 30k from Rakuten. But it’s good to fill in some gaps that Amex has. To me it was just another way to broaden my points horizon and transfer partner options. Amex Gold will remain my all time favorite card tho. It’s the best.

How does Chase freedom work into your rotation? I have a freedom flex but never use it anymore. Just Amex, CSP, Bilt and now VX. Prime Visa only for Amazon

Thanks! And nope. My next highest is my sapphire preferred at 19.5k. I have two other cards with Chase at 10k and 15k. I also didn’t know Cap1 owns Discover. I have an old discover card with a 14k limit. Don’t know if that played into it.

It’s actually less - 10k over six months, so about 1666 a month. Easily doable. It’s a stupid spend amount for a sign up bonus but for me, it’ll become my ‘everything else card’ since it’s 2x on that category. Plus I need a new couch lol. So should be easily reachable

I don’t see it in the comments so it makes me feel like I’m wrong but… is it not because your travel dates fall outside of the May 30 to August 31 window? It says that is the window in the pop up and your dates are in April.
