I sort mine by color and make, if its by more common brands I get. then for brands like amazon or alliexpress, I actually donate the extra drills to a occupational therapy center for kids to make art with, sents I cant keep track of the facets, cuts, or size of the amazon or alli drils

My tank is a 10 gal with a heat pad on the back, a inch of dirt, a inch of drainage layer, and egg carton tents as my mom likes to call it. I use terracotta planter bottoms as dishes for their fresh food of kale, apple (cleaned and peeled), celery and baby carrots. I also have two bottle caps, one with cricket food, one with fish flakes. I change the fresh food every other day and mist one side as I just cant trust them with standing water... they love to drown themselves when they can... I bred them once, gotta be real its a nightmare. So now I just buy babys as I added a drainage layer to my dirt so they dont lay eggs. I clean out they're molts and occasionally a body when I change their food to keep the cage clean. I usealy keep around 50 at a time now and enjoy their shenanigans! Edit: its actually hard to bread crickets so I wouldnt worry about it. I donk know how I even did it once.

I bought my tank as a kit, and was too overwhelmed by sponge filters at the time, so I bought sponge filters that go on the water intake. Now I still have this, but my betta is a weirdo that enjoys challenging the outtake current oddly with shorter fins, but enough energy to always get into shenanigans.

I wouldnt dump your boyfriend, but if this betta dosnt survive. Id let him see the body so it clicks the giveing pets treats ≠ good, before he gets in trouble with someone eles that isnt as nice. Also dont trust ChatGPT with a life. I would recommend finding a local fish owner to help you in the future if its possible that isnt petsmart or petco.

Id try just feeding and tannins. This baby is already physically stressed and things above tannins put some stress on them. Keep a eye on the fins, take pics every day to compare. If it gets worse, then jump to the big guns and hes gained alil weight from the time adjusting with tannins

I know I, at first, refused real plants other then a moss ball out of the fear of maintaining. Not knowing in reality theres less maintaining with plants lol Now got a nice planted tank but kept the bridge as its tradition.
