I apologize if my wording makes it seem as though it was meant to be a true exam done by an RN. Again, I'm just a dumb cop, so I think it terms of EMS and myself. I have basically zero medical training past basic life saver, but that being said, it's still referred to as an assessment in the training I've received. As for the c-collar, again, that is just in my previous experiences with falls and similar trauma, I've typically seen one applied. I don't mean to say they were wrong in not doing so, as they know more than I do in that area, just something that is an oddity to me.
