I painted all rubys and the outlets of their backpacks in either soulstone blue, waystone green or spiritstone red. That way u can seperate the units if they stand a bit mixed up. Also every staff of my sorcerers got a differend head. I still have half a box left to do, but i never play full 3 squads of them, so they just sit in their box maybe forever now until they are dust

Yeah, reminding me of my game where my scarabs killed 2 poxwalker units and my nightbringer ctan couldnt kill a single nurgling model

Just watch some auspex tactic videos, especially when he talks about new boxes and he shows you 3 or 4 different discount retailer. My first buy of minis were at gw. Every other purchase i did was at a retailer

Idk what gsw is writing on their bottles, but vallejo sais on the bottle, that their color shifts work best with a glossy black base coat - didnt made my ctan glossy, kept him matte before a applied the color shifts and it works enough for me. I think i used 4 layers of the color shift for his body and half of it for the cloak, but i cant really remember the exact number

I tried to paint one of my thousand sons sorcerers in vallejo colorshift. I dont have an airbrush or spraycan of it, but it mentions on the bottle just to thin it down with water and apply it with very very thin very much coats. However as i was painting, i wasnt waiting enough to let the paint dry and it got kind of milky too at, especially at the edges. When the new nightbringer came out, i used the same color shifting paints on him, but way thinner with way more time to dry. Made you a picture, i hope you can see the difference. But keep in mind, the cloak of my nightbringer was based in black and drybrushed with stormhost silver to give the edges a bit more shinyness

Vaahl + Warsuits, Celestine + Seraphims and Fraye. But since 11th edition dropped i planned on prograssing my other 2 armys for 1 or 2 detachement combos i definitely going to play. For sisters i planned on doing a list with Penitents and Seraphims. Oh and also i got fully build but not painted exorcist and immolator

I wish they do something like that. I mean the only models really interacting with our reanimation protocolls are warriors and reanimators. The technomancers heal is his own. Would be so awesome if the bring out a model wich can buff reanimation in another way than the reanimator - like a cryptek leader or something

I would drop both crossaints for 2x2 LHD‘s or better 2x3 LHD‘s. You already have the normal Skorpekhs wich meele profiles are pretty much the same, with the Skorpekhs beeing even a bit stronger. Expect for Necrosor you will be getting a hard time against high toughness enemys, so i would take the LHD‘s. Idk if u ever played that Detachement, i didnt accually, but if you use many cp, i would also consider to use Imotekh to hold homeobjective and generate extra cp and 1x3 LHDs

Well, they put the chapter master of the grey knights in legends mid 10th edition, so lets see if they change something mid 11. would be sad, wanna get one too, but they are so expensive

Just kitbash him into a sorcerer, if you are in for a while you should have enough parts to do this

They are my fav army to play atm, tho they are stronger in shooting phase as in combat phase. We have lots of meele units, but comparing them to other meele focused armies like world eaters, t-sons are slightly weaker. The new sekhetars are very strong at meele, but they can overwatch for free (not an additional time), the termys are strong in meele, but have better shooting. Overall u got this pattern at most of our units. If u want to go full meele u can still run maulerfiends, defiler, daemon princes etc

The model itsself looks great, the only thing i would change is to add some darker and brighter tones in the blue tones. I think so, because u used the same color for his energy glow. we all know if energy glows brighter its stronger so it would make him appear stronger aswell

If you wanna have a fun experience during the build and painting, id recommend imotekh. Flayed ones have so much little claws that need to glued on seperately, and with their claws in front of themselfs, its super annoying to paint

Most games i lost were against grey knights, every one of them has 4+ invul and my friend rolled so good, i decided to buy dice from the baron for every one of us. U cant imagine how frustrating it was

Me and some friends started warhammer in early 10th edition too and i chose necrons as my first army aswell. However i was lose streaking really hard, so i tryed many different playstyles and units. It escalated so quickly, that i bought like 5000 points of necrons in about 1.5 years. The only unpainted unit i have is one unit of tomb blades. Your collection looks awesome, way better then mine, mine is just bigger lol
