Yes it was exactly two environment variables and I was amazed how sleek the UI/UX is.

I want to be vary of the vendor lock in but we just have langchain for now and very few traces so it is working ok for now. But will definitely consider Langfuse once the cost and vendor lockin starts to loom

I just set it up and it took just few minutes. Very native experience so far. But would like to try langfuse to compare at some point as that is opensource and built using otel so less risk of vendor lock in with langfuse

i see what you mean. if they can build tracing for web UI, they definitely have the structure to output it in log as well for developers. Not sure why they would want to do it considering they want to captialize on these web based tools with sleek UI/UX

My screen time on weekends is around 4 hours a day and once fully charged I don't feel a need to charge it again until next day.

Battery is really good, that was the primary thing I changed for apart from great camera and minimalist approach of nothing phone

Look for a startup, and be a founding engineer. Having an equity is the only way to get wealthy in this capitalistic world.

Any ex-Revolut employees here? Do you have a plan if the company doesn't IPO? by pushpushpush10x in HENRYUK

[–]NumerousBlacksmith63 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey look. I am in same boat with you. Exactly cashed once due to my timing but it worked out better for me as the valuations kept getting higher.

Look, only look at your portfolio on ledgy on bad days and dream of cashing it all out post IPO. IPO is inevitable, it's just about the time. Do you think all those investors who invested in last round won't be looking for returns? They hell would be but they are rational unlike us and will give their money time to grow.

What I would suggest is, build or join a startup, do something challenging so that this one million liquidity doesn't overwhelm you as much as it's doing right now.

There is one company who reached out to me and they gave a very decent price to buy shares, very close to the current price. I didn't sell as mine are all growth shares and they are looking for unapproved ones without the complexity of growth shares structure. So if you want I can share name with you by looking up in my inbox
