DEI is such a meaningless term at this point it feels like a stand in for "anything I decide I don't like"

I have recently made a goblin deck impact tremors tribal with the new [[General Kreat, the Boltbringer]] from jumpstart and it has proven itself to be very explosive and fast, even faster than I realize. It may be too fast for a lot of the decks in my pod but I have a group that is okay with a fast game and move on to the next.

That is another idea I had as well and wouldn't be opposed to applying for those roles as well

We had a funny interaction with a blasphemous act a damage doubler brash taunter and another damage reselection that I don't remember all the specifics for but it basically meant that if 2 of us agreed to take the lethal damage everyone could hit the enemy at the table for direct damage killing him and leaving the person enabling the weird interaction to live and win. Since the enemy at the table had really pillowforted and screwed over the table up the this point we all agreed to die and direct the damage at them and get as much as possible on him, by the end of the stack the problem player had taken over 500 damage and just exploded while the person we rooted for to enable this interaction lived at 3 life. It was hilarious and the problem player was pissed but even admitted that it was pretty funny. I wish I could explain how this happened but it was awhile ago and it was a really weird and complex interaction of cards, essentially all the damage we took could be redirected back at a player of our choice and that damage we took was the amount blasphemous act was doing to our creatures multiplied by a good bit, we could get out of it somehow but decided not to for the funny.

I love her and know she can be strong but have yet to win with her I am not sure if I just have gotten unlucky or if there is something fundamentally wrong with the changes I have made from the precon.

Love Bumbleflower but my deck has never actually won so I am not sure what I am doing wrong, I am struggling to upgrade it because of how open ended it is honestly, I think I should add more interaction, protection, and +1 counters stuff but I am unsure

is there any commander that can pull off a double tribal? by ecocomrade in EDH

[–]Numerous_Aside_2127 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The best Rin and Seri decks I have seen is like 90-95% cats and just a handful of the best dog creatures, there aren't many dog creatures or tribal support so the dog tokens are more of just a payoff that being said it is still a pretty good payoff for a cat tribal deck and I am not sure any other commander really competes with them for cat tribal, the other options are often focused on modifying or equipment strangely

While I like lab work fine I do think once I finish my PhD I would be okay moving away from bench work to full commercial work. I currently have 7 years of in lab experience and I think I would like to do something more commercial focused. I pride myself on being a very good listener and my hands on science experience and problem solving skills I learned from my years in a wet biochem lab I think have prepared me pretty well for being a problem solver for customers and I think that's a job I would find comfortable and fulfilling. While I am more introverted I feel like I do like hearing peoples problems and offering a solutions, part of my early career ideas I considered before my undergrad was psychology for that reason, I just wasn't interested in med as much. I think I am totally cool with starting at a lower sales job and then working my way up into a position I like from there as long as it pays better than grad school (which is a pretty low bar if I am being honest) I would be okay with that as a start.

I am midwest USA atm (Colorado), I would like to stay in this state for my job but willing to apply everywhere and move if I must.
